Is Twilight better than Harry Potter  |

 Twilight has vampires and cute love stories, its exciting and unpredictable. But is it better than Harry Potter?? I like them both and it will be very hard if I'm asked to choose side. What's your opinion??

I read the first Twilight book because my sister bragged about how great it was and then I ended up LOVING IT! I definitely like Twilight better than Harry Potter. I don't know why exactly. I feel like Harry Potter is geared more towards children than Twilight is towards teenagers.

3.  akuseru (1854) | 7 months ago |  In my opinion, there is no way that the Twilight Saga can dream of competing with Harry Potter. Stephenie Meyer is a terrible writer. Her books lack a lot of the things that made Harry Potter great--compelling characters, coherent and well-paced plot, convincing (and healthy!) relationships between characters... it really should have stayed in Hatchette's slush pile. The only thing it really has going for it is the fact that Bella's one of the best Mary Sue (self-insert) characters out there.

Especially in today's world where original story is hard to find. However you are right, J K Rowling is a better writer. She goes into every minute details to establish her story. It makes the totally fictional character comes alive. | |

4.  okkidokitokki (1387) | 7 months ago |  I am going to say no but only based on the fact that the Harry Potter publishers printed enough books and so most readers did not have to wait to get the books.
I am biased though, my husband was going to buy me the Twilight box set for Christmas but they sold out and he was told that a new shipment would be in by mid Jan. It was not until March that the box sets came in and before that the stores in my town and online (the ones that I looked at) Did not have a copy of every book, only one or two.

9.  fasyahime (612) | 7 months ago |  definitely nope! i have expect something really big of twilight when i go to watch the movie but end up disappointing! harry potter 10000 much better than twilight! i think twilight novel is much better than the movie! but i give thumb up on the twilight movie because they shoot on gorgeous place,effect and the way they end the movie!love the final scene fighting scene!but that doesn't help to change my view on how awful they did the film!
