 ABC's show Lost has been going strong for 5 seasons now. Each episode leaves its viewers wondering what the heck is going on and what will happen next. After watching 5 seasons of this addictive and mind boggling show, do you expect a good ending?
Do you think that ABC is going to leave its audience in a state of confusion or do you think the last episode will explain it all?
Will you be angry if all is said and done and you're still confused and wondering why?

| 1. simplicitylett (16) | 7 months ago |  The creators of Lost originally said they wanted only five seasons to the show, to tell all the story that they wanted to. However, with the writers strike that got a little messed up, and the series was extended to six seasons. The creators are quite adamant that they will explain everything by the end of the six seasons, and have stated that if ABC forces the show to go longer than their planned story, they will walk away from it.
I love Lost - the mystery, the connections everyone has, etc. I dont want it to end, but when it does, I hope that it's on the writers terms, not the channel, because we've seen where shows have been dragged out ad infinitum before and it's not pretty.
I dont believe that EVERYTHING will be explained, but it should be enough to make most people happy. I've been a little worried about season 5 because of the whole time travel thing...I had been concerned that Lost would turn into a bad Sci Fi series instead of the wonderful mysterious and bizarre show that it is, but so far it seems to be working.

I think we're going to find out more about Jacob within the next few episodes.
As for Claire...gosh, I hope she's alive. It seems unlikely, surviving the exploding building. I have a feeling that she's part of the island now, like Charlie and Jack's Dad and the other dead people that keep showing up...but I can hope. | |

It seems Daniel Faraday is very dead, but I wouldnt discount him not showing up on the island in some way...

Even so they are still going with the short seasons and probably next year will be the last. They are heading for a big cliffhanger climax to this season next week to set the stage for the final season as far as I can tell.
