I Lost my Trousers - you've been framed LOL

Hi Ellie!! Well this one might make the front page of Playboy magazine!! Last year in August we were going to move at the end of August. So, Hubby had just gotten out of the hospital and couldn't do much and we still had a bit of painting left to do. It was warm so I wore an old t-shirt and shorts and ask him if he could take me to the new house and he could come home and pick me up later. So I got to the house and he left and I started painting about an hour later I spilled the entire can of paint all on my shirt and shorts and of course it was dripping everywhere and I didn't want to get it all over the new lino so I had to take off my t-shirt, was Not wearing a bra and take off my shorts!!! I was in the house, completely topless and no shorts only a skimpy pair of underwear!!! I had to stay that way for about another 3 hours before he came to pick me up!!! I had No other clothes, No cell phone, No curtains on the windows and on the sides of the front door also has windows and No curtains, (they do now), so I had to just go into the small little downstairs bathroom and Sit for all those hours!!! Needless to say he was a bit surprised when he came to the door, since he had no keys I had to answer the door and stand behind it while I let him in...I thought he was going to die laughing when I told him what had happened and I told him if he didn't get into the car and go to the old house and get me something else to wear immediately that it would be the Last laugh that he would ever make!! I then had to cool my heals in the small bathroom again for about another hour for him to get back!! Needless to say when I returned to the new house, I had an entire suitcase of different clothes for myself just in case any other "little mishaps" happened again!!! It's funny now looking back at it but trust me, at the time it wasn't!!

I don't have those sort of story to share, but if you can consider this funny, here it is: I was talking to one of my family members and thinking that she was still behind me, I kept on blabbering about a particular topic. And when I turned around expecting a response, I saw some people giving me stares and no one was behind me. Sort of like I was talking alone. I blushed red, period...

Ha ha ha... no nothing like that has happened to me during a DIY stint, but I'll bet that was funny! Did you manage to get your jog pants back in one piece, eventually? I don't know why it is but people phone at the most inopportune moments at times, but then again, if they hadn't phoned, you still would have been stuck to the floor! lol. Brightest Blessings.

Oh you poor baby! Well no home repairs that would cause giggles. But a few that would inspire shrieks of frustration. Yesterday, I thought it was a good idea to cut the carpet open to see about repairing some broken floor tile underneath. Well, apparently all this commotion got my cats excited about the possibilities of what could be living beneath the carpet. Now my big cat lays over the area that was cut to keep imaginary fairies and other goblins from climbing up from the under world and my kitty cat (who is also in heat) is peeing near the spot to mark her territory. Guess that's just in case some cat boy cutie makes his way up through the hole in the floor. Ahh! I live the good life, no? Anyway, the floor is temporarily patched. Thanks for the funny!

you make me laugh..you must be losing weight! lol As for me I haven't done any DIY jobs at all of late but guess there must something that does really need my attention yet wether I get round to doing it is another thing..at the moment am doing the garden that seems like DIY to me! huggles LoLo xxxx

Hi there Ellie. I think this topic might have also worked in the panda spanking interest:D I have a recent story to share. I just came home from my girlfriend's place (where i spent the night) a few days back and both my parents were in the kitchen. So there i was chopping off some salami with the knife on a table, when out of the blue, i see a white thingy getting near my legs and i got scared (as i do know there are no critters in my home), and my dad started laughing and so did my mom, as the little critter was just a cute little bunny, on a loan from one of my neighbors for my mom's teaching lessons that day.

I wish I could have captured it for a fun of life time. LOL.. Hope no one was around! I, many times, find myself searching fervently for the duster or even my specs when both are with me! The glasses on my nose and the duster tucked on my trousers. I make a hue and cry of it only to get a wacky laugh from my mom! My attempt to put up a straight face just does not work.

LOL. That is so funny. I bet that was hilarious. I do not recall any funny moments that happened to me here recently though. Thanks for sharing.

Hi ellie, yeah, I've read about your antics and I found that very funny, but the only thing I've done was when I went to bend dow to put the cat food on the floor I bang my head on my hubby's crash helmet that was hanging on his handle bars of his bike and all he could say was, "hope you haven't dented my helmet" and I was in agony. I've done no DIY that would make anyone laugh - other than with pity for the poor job - recently Ellie. But when we lived in London The Boss once opened a kitchen cabinet that I had put up and the whole thing came away from the wall! I can just imagine you stuck to the floor! I've charged my camera batteries. Let's try that one again!!

Hey ellie! So great to see you again! That would surely have made it You Tube or what we here in America have what is called as "Americas Funniest Home Videos"! That surely would have been a winner! And you might have won $10,000! Yup! They actually pay that much money for a funny video just like that! If the audience votes for it, you could actually win that money! Too bad you could video it! I hope the phone call was worth the lost trousers! lol

I have nothing funny to say but just wanted to let you know that I was taking a sip of my coke while reading this and I laughed so hard it came back out my nose.....thanks for the laugh and the nose burn.....lol
