3.  suspenseful (17023) | 7 months ago |  I like a variety of songs, but most of all I like sacred songs and opera and especially the mad songs where the heroine has a knife in her hand after killing the groom,or she is going bonkers after the Prince called her a sl*t. I also like the songs when the heroine is dying of consumption or tb. So I guess they are sad songs of a different era.

| 4. ThisSongIsFree (47) | 7 months ago |  Well, I wouldn't say I JUST like sad songs by any stretch of the imagination, but I DO like them and I also like to write them (I am a songwriter). My favorite well-known sad song is probably "I Can't Make You Love Me" as recorded by Bonnie Raitt. She didn't write the song, but she delivers it like she did.
