Is putting make-up a necessity?

I'm content with just putting on powder and mascara. you don't need to put on a full face of goop,especially if it irrates your skin. Most people wear to much anyway!!

I think we woman wear make up due to the fact we want to look more attractive than usual. Some woman look so pale if they don't. I wear make up. Not much, only compact powder and lipstick. I hate putting too much stuff. I'll look a bit pale if I put none at all.

I think this is completely a person's preference! Society tells us that we have to wear makeup to be beautiful. I dont believe for one minute! The last time I wore any make up at all was almost 4 years ago. I didnt even wear make up to my own wedding!

If you are comfortable with yourself without wearing makeup, go for it! If you feel like you need make up to have confidence, that is ok too. Dont be pressured into doing something just because everyone else is doing it.

One of the reasons I dont wear makeup is because I think it takes too much time. Another reason is that it is so expensive! I also hate that people think someone is sick when they see them without their makeup. But the biggest reason for me is that I think it is much healthier for your skin to not wear any. I never wear makeup and have very few problems with my skin. Think about, most men have pretty nice, clear skin and they dont wear makeup. But women? They wear makeup all the time and have lots of problems!

I do think that most women somehow feel unattractive if they are not wearing make-up, which of course is rubbish. I can see that it is useful for covering up spots or skin blemishes or highlighting your good features, but to feel you can't go out without it is just silly. I haven't worn any make-up for years, and even then it was only mascara and khol pencil. Young women really don't need make-up at all, they usually have a healthy youthful glow anyway!

I don't think make up is a necessity. I don't always
wear make up. Sometimes I just don't feel like putting
it on. I do like to put on make up when I'm going out.
To me it just makes me feel better. On the days I just
stay at home, I go around barefaced. I do know some
women that get up and put make up on regardless. I just
choose to not do that everyday.

Look is a great concern for many women. Women are up to do anything to look better and attractive as well, for this purpose only most women put on make ups. They know that too much putting of make ups could damage the facial skin but who cares?

Now it has become almost a necessity for the girls and women to visit the beauty parlours. Very few exceptions are there.

I think that it is up to the person, I don't wear much I wear powder and mascara. I think that to many women wear to much makeup, if they took half of it off they wouldn't look half bad. I like the natural look, if you can tell that you have makeup on your wearing to much!

No, I don't think it's a necessity. Women are beautiful without makeup. I say go without; be yourself and that is enough. Makeup is also very expensive, so not wearing it saves money.

I never grew up around it. My mom doesn't wear makeup is what I mean. That and I don't like to wear makeup personally. In the end it makes you really ugly. What man wants to wakeup to a faceless woman in the morning after all that makeup as eaten away her face? If I do put on anything it's just lipgloss, and eyeliner. Mostly not even that, chapstick if nothing else.

I know you said for women, but I'm just going to toss this in. I think there is more danger in too much make-up, than too little. Some girls put on so much make-up, they look plastic of fake. Some look almost like aliens in a bad movie.

But is it a necessity? No hon, it's not a necessity. And hear me when I say this... if a guy is not interested in you because you don't have make-up on, he's a bad person, and you need to move on and find someone else.

You don't NEED to have make-up. What you NEED is a good heart, to love God, and to do what is right. Those things will serve you better in life than any make-up.
