Why I haven't been here in awhile

On April 30th (the day after I got to D.C.), I fell down in the hotel bathroom and bruised my knee quite badly. After that, I was busy in D.C. working to pass the Community Choice Act and getting arrested twice. Then, I was back for a day and a half before I went to Pride on Saturday. After the festival, my knee failed entirely. Yesterday, I finally had to give in and go to the E.R. I'm glad I did because they gave me stronger pain killers, and I'm doing much better. I don't normally like taking extra pills but sometimes you have to. This is the third kind of pain killer I've been on for this injury and the only one that has worked well without adrenaline to push me along. But I should be back more permanently now as I'm planning to get up everyday and in about a week my leg should be better, and I should be back to my old self. So what happened here in the week and a half I've been gone? Any good news to report? Please no more bad news. I've had enough of that lately.
