1. Rollo1 (1612) | 8 months ago | I try to remember to say thanks for the response, and I do try to respond to each commenter. After all, you want people to comment.
The why is simple. It's good manners, but also because it makes you money. So, people responding actually do more than answer your question or give you advice or a really nifty recipe for chicken tacos, they increase your earnings. Anyone providing you with income should be thanked, or at least acknowledged.

Theresaaiza (1582) | 8 months ago | It's only but proper to say thank you because to me, someone gave my post his/her attention and he/she definitely deserves to be acknowledged for the effort and gesture. I barely receive negative responses in my posts because I don't really post controversial topics that much so everything is taken with a light heart.
Some of my responses aren't thank you's. Sometimes, they are questions, reactions, or a defense to my opinion.

3. modstar (4961) | 8 months ago | I really don't say the words thank you often but i do thank them in a sense that i comment back on their responses. I guess it is just my way of letting them know that i appreciated their effort to respond and so i need to comment back. Sometimes it's pretty hard to keep up especially if you're having an overwhelming number of responses so some of them are kind of left behind. But as much as i can, i do try to say something about their responses just so they won't feel bad about it. Some myLotters are quite sensitive you know.

4. mibngold (1525) | 8 months ago | Hi There..I usually do say Thank You if someone takes the time out to respond to one of my discussions. It is thoughtful of them to take out the time to respond and especially great if they actually put some thought into their answers. Plus, I like to be polite to people. It drives me nuts when people don't have common courtesy...what is so hard about saying please and thank you (in general)?
