Carry Prejean's answer was no different then most Americans belive a marriage is between one man and one women period, people can change words like swine flu to N1H1 it still is the dam flu. Thanks for joining this discussion I see all that condemned Carry Prejean never stopped in.

Contract violation because she decided to speak at some events about her opinion. Posing in underwear that had not been disclosed.... If you dig hard enough you'll find stuff on everybody and misconstrue it enough to make them look bad. No, she should not lose the crown over this. It's ridiculous.

She was asked for her opinion and she gave it and for that, she should not be singled out and punished. I'm coming to this discussion a bit late and I understand that they did let her keep her crown which I think was the right decision.
Personally, I don't think they should even bother asking those girls questions. Just judge them on their looks and let it go at that. I was hoping with the waning interest in beauty pageants in most of the country, we would be seeing less of them but controversies like this one just serve to perpetuate a dying institution that should be allowed to just fade away.
