WWE vs UFC: who has the most number of followers

i would rather watch UFC. i'm totally hooked on it.

Both have very large fan bases but I think WWE has a bigger one. Even though UFC might sell more PPV, WWE has sold more arenas and has an event almost every day, whether it is a Raw or Smackdown or ECW or house show or PPV. WWE is the bigger money-maker.

Well I'm not really sure about UFC, I guess WWE is a greater international brand than UFC because I haven't heard of it before to be honest. I have heard of and watched TNA, however, I don't really find it as interesting as I find WWE. Or maybe it's just that I'm a WWF/WCW/WWE fan or something.....anyway, I like WWE!

Hello marlon1975, I am a big fan of both brands. I watch UFC more than WWE now because WWE do to much talking and not enough wrestling. I enjoy watching UFC. I am also an UFC addict. lol. Happy myLotting!

The answer to this question depends on whether or not you are looking at the numbers, or what genre bother are in. I wouldn't go as far as to even compare the two because they aren't in direct competition. The differences keep UFC from being anything like World Wrestling Entertainment.

TNA Wrestling is slowly gaining ground by the week(kinda). I find it hard to get into the brand right now, because they seem to have ditched their original plans. They are no longer pushing the X Division, nor are they focusing on the young guys who are supposed to be the future of the business.

I understand getting veterans like Angle, Steiner, Nash and Booker. Those guys are proven ratings spikes. most of those cats can still bring it, and put on a good show against the younger performers. But none of them need to hog the attention in the main event at this point(wish is exactly what has been going on over the past few months).

AJ Styles got caught up in the Karen Angle storyline, and was made to look like a punk kid who still had a lot of growing up to do. Chris Daniels bought the Curryman gimmick to TNA, which was fun for a while. That got stale because Curryman was never meant to be taken seriously, and is only good in short spurts. Now Daniels is "back" with the whole "You're Suicide!" storyline looming over him.

Couple all that with the Knockout division being a complete mess and you have a company with a major identity crisis. TNA right now reminds me of WcW when all the extra factions started popping up. Remember the NWO Wolfpack? remember the Latino Would Order? Remember when Vince Russo was revealed to be the higher power, or whatever? Well, Russo in on TNA staff right now. I blame him for burying buys like Jay lethal in tired gimmicks that do nothing to advance his career.

I also blame Russo for for the unneeded WWE name dropping that seems to happen every week on Impact. It was kinda funny when B.G. James(Road Dogg) and Kip(Billy Gunn) did the Voodoo Kin Mafia storyline and challenged Triple H and Shawn Michaels to a fight, but it's gotten a little overboard lately. Nobody will take this company seriously is they continue to hire former WWE talent, and talk smack about that company at every turn.

But the question isn't about TNA. UFC(and all other MMA leagues) is more like boxing when you really think about it. fighters need months of training in order to get ready for fights.These are professional men and women who participate in actual competition. That is what sets them apart form Pro. Wrestlers. both are "real" in a way(injuries and such), but MMA fights are not predetermined.

As of right now, WWE has no direct competition. Ring of Honor is still only a blip on most wrestling fans radar, and TNA is a laughing stock depending on who you ask. If you only look at the numbers, UFC has done extremely well for it's self in a very short a mount of time. It only seems like yesterday when I watched the first season of Ultimate Fighter on Spike. Both organizations are at a point where they can't go underground. The fanbases are very loyal, so they are both here to stay(and expand).

if you really look at the fan base that wwe has in comparison md there legacy and marketing they put out they have the higher fan base as for ufc for the time they have been around they have grown alot into what could be seen as bigger then what wwwf (original or the now wwe is) at there time i guess it all is how u look at it currently wwe has the years behind them that make them who they are but u will for sure see ufc sticking out there in the future to those who are in the new generation(kids)and will grow to become possibly as good with there fan base as wwe is .

i think wwe is still getting better viewers than ufc, ufc is probably famous in a few countries but wwe is watched in more countries. overall, wwe is more entertaining in my opinion.

Its obvious that WWE is a much bigger company and better entertainment programme.Look at the size of the stadium and number of audience much much larger than UFC.
