I kind of was suspicious last week when he and richard and ben were observing himself but knowing how weird the show can be I brushed it off. seeing who jacob is was a let down in a way. so now the question is who is the guy that jacob was with? one mystery solved and another new one. jacob is really a bad person, he is responsible for sayid's wife's death for one. also he obviously has aging issues also if he was there to help kate when she stole as a child and give sawyer a pen at his parents funeral. he looked the same when he was at sun and jin's wedding. so he and richard don't age much? last night also made ben out to be not such a bad guy more pitiful but not the evil one you might have thought. juliette dying was sad but predictable. last night showed that these people are willing to kill each over differences but not willing to fight for love. juliette gave up on sawyer knowing he would keep choosing kate even though he tried to tell her differently, jack was ready to give up on kate without a fight. bernard and rose have it together. they have just been living blissfully and being grateful. what's so bad about that? what i don't get is we still don't know what happened to claire and why? i would think that this is important being that her son aaron seems to have been important enough for them to have gotten off the island when they had the chance. if dead is dead as last night kind of proved, how is christian still around? it was a nice touch when miles saved his dad. sayid thinking there is no saving himself is sad but probably true. it seems that he is just doomed. overall i liked the episode- 2 hours felt like we had more show than the last few weeks with more commercial breaks then anything else. i still am disappointed in all these people from the second plane crash. who cares? one more season to get the answers. i can't help but wonder what questions are going to be left unanswered.

_soonernation_ (767) | 8 months ago | That is what I'm worried about..what are they going to leave unresolved. Stuff that we'll never know. And just who ARE these people from the second plane crash. Jacob visited that Alana chick in the hospital, so he had something to do with Locke's body being carried around. Jacob must have known what was going to happen. And just who is that guy? Grrr..I just hate this show sometimes. I just leaves you hanging with every single episode/season.

With all of the time travel, and the flashbacks and flash forwards, it's gotten increasingly ridiculous and confusing. In past seasons the show was a must-see for me. Even last season, I never missed an episode. However, this season hasn't been the same. I've tried to watch every episode, but I've missed quite a few of them. In past seasons, I would've been upset by that, but not this season. This season, with the ridiculous story lines, missing an episode doesn't seem to matter to me. However, having said all that, the season finale was exceptional. Finding out that Locke isn't really Locke, finally meeting Jacob and Juliet setting off the bomb. And, what a cliffhanger it was. Even though I didn't enjoy this season, now I'm excited for next season, the final season, to see what happens. I'm actually excited to see how it all will end, and now all of the questions will be answered. I'm glad that next season will be the final season. I don't like it when shows overstayed their welcome. And Lost is getting to that point, so I'm glad they're ending up next season. However, I will kind of miss it.

Don't they realize that some fans could die before then and not for waiting for the show. I mean there might be some terminally ill fans who will never know and who might have made it to the fall. In my opinion it is just not the way a show should do things. I really like the show and I have continued to watch but I would have quite watching many other shows because of this total disreguard of the fans.

I hate that I'll have to wait until next season to find out what happens. I'll probably forget everything up to now. I barely remember stuff from the first few seasons. While I really like this show, it kinda makes me mad too. Just tell us what's going on!!!

Gotta disagree though with at least 1 post. It seems to me that Jacob's the good guy, and the other guy, now manifesting as Locke, is the bad one. Jacob may have been responsible for bringing people to the Island, but I don't believe he wanted any of them harmed. The first scene where Jacob and the unidentified man in black had a conversation about how the latter wanted so badly to kill him, his need for a loophole is a big key to understanding the entire show. It's the new Locke who incites Ben to kill Jacob. He simply used Ben and Locke to carry out his plan.
The only thing I'm left wondering about is where does it leave the Dharma folk, the Oceanic folk, and the Others fall in this scheme.
