when packing your bag/suitcase, are you always prepared?  

Ahh, when it comes to packing, I am a total control freak. I start making a list of every single thing I will need weeks in advance, down even to exactly which clothes I will take and which bag each thing will be packed in. Then I make another list of things on my first list which still have to be bought. Then another list of things to be done before I leave. Then I divide my first list into things which can be packed before the day of departure and things which have to be packed at the last minute...

It sounds like I have obsessive-compulsive disorder, but I don't really.... for me that's just part of the fun!

If I pack early each day I am always double checking that I have everything so I am a late packer but I feel more confident when I pack. It doesn't matter where I go but I always end up over packing but I don't mind. I always hate the feeling that I forgot something or could have packed something else.

I am never prepared. I have to pack for me and my four kids. I usually forget things for myself like underware. Then, I have to buy new pairs when we get to our destination. I try to plan everything in advance, but something always comes up at the last minute. I can't pack early because one of the kids always needs something that has been packed. I tried that one with my first daughter. Now, I just go with it. If I forget, I forget. If it's something we need, I just buy new when we get there.

I actaully have a check list that we always follow therefore we never leave anything behind and are able to enjoy our vacation!!

I always have good intentions to pack in advance, so nothing is forgotten. Unfortunately I am one of those "put it off till tomorrow people".

So in the end I always end up packing at the last minute but I have never really forgotten anything important

I always plan ahead when I travel. I also just bring what is necessary. I always make it a point that I travel lightly. I hate bringing so many things that I cannot use during the travel. To avoid forgeting, I usually jot down all the things that needs to be pack a week before. Then I have to make sure that everything is complete two days before. Then pack it a day before I leave.

I am plan ahead, hubby is pack the last minute. We are quite a pair. I try to remember everything for him, but I refuse to do it. He has more free time than I do, and has more time to get organized, he just refuses to do so. I enjoy the trip much more when I plan ahead. Now he will make sure the car we are taking is clean, serviced, and fueled.

Yeah, last minute person here too. I take it to the last minute on everything too. I am always pretty much prepared thow. I pack everything. Usually I overpack not underpack

I have a bad habit of procrastination in an extreme way, and when I finally get around to packing I usually forget at least one thing. I should learn by now that procrastination doesn't really have any benefits, haha.

I plan everything ahead carefully...from the tickets, shuttle car, hotels, clothes, bathing soap and shampoo, etc. I don't make a list of the things I want to pack though, I just use my memory. And usually I arrive at the airport 2 hours before my flight schedule, because I love to walk around the airport, take pictures and enjoy the situation :)
