My mother-in-law recently told me that she wanted to start losing weight. I love going for walks and have been losing weight that way for a while now. So we decided to start going for walks. So far, it has gone pretty well. We are going twice a week. I stop at her house on my way home from work. It gives her time away from my father-in-law. It is also good motivation to make sure I keep walking twice each week! She lives in a beautiful neighborhood, so I love walking there. I love admiring all of the houses. There are so many places we can go. So it will be a while before we do the same walk twice! Who do you go walking with? Where do you go? How often do you go for walks?

When I was a child my mother would take me and my sister out for an after dinner walk during the good weather. We would walk around looking at peoples houses and pretty flowers. My mom would stop and talk to some people about their garden or whatever. Then we would continue walking.Next thing you know it is getting dark and we would be about a mile from home! Lol But we had fun. When I was a single parent with my two boys I would do the same thing, take them for long walks. Not as often as I did as a child because I had some medical problems when they were younger and couldn't walk as much. Then the boys were not interested in going for a walk with their mother. Then when I got married and had a daughter and my husband would not let me take her for evening walks!I never knew why,he just said it was stupidThen when he got ill and could not work,we would go for short walks. We did then because he was bored, but because of his health problems we could not go far.Now my daughter is twelve and my grand daughter is two. When I had a car and it was bad weather we would drive to the mall.I would park in the underground parking area with an underground entrance as well. The mall is a great place to walk around and see different things and people every time you go.And you can always get cold weather there too!

My HB ,and mother walk every night. I work out here at home in the morning .But sometimes join them. I think its great how they have a good relationship and get to see all their dream homes to beautiful flowers right now. Its funny how much you can discover about your own town by walking.
