Am i wrong that i keep my hair long as a girl?

when i first met my boyfriend, his hair was longer than mine. his was down to his waist! from the back, he did look like a girl but when he put it into a ponytail, he looked like a normal guy with long hair. dont let peoples comments influence you. if you like your long hair, keep it! hair does not make a person, its whats in your head and heart that counts. look at all the musicians today, some have raelly long hair and no one says a word to them about it. maybe your classmates and teachers are jealous of your long hair? if so, too bad but dont cut it based on what they say. if you're comfortable with it, then do not cut it!

It doesn't matter what your classmates or teachers think or say. Once you graduate, those people will mean very little in your life. It only matters how you feel about yourself.

Appearance is not who you are and does not define you.

I am a girl and have waist length hair. It's healthy and shiny and I love it! You'd be suprised at how many people insist that I cut it shorter! I get all sorts of reasons why. Some say my look is out-dated or that my hair is too much work. It's my hair, what do they care? lol

Do what you like. Don't worry so much about what others say. Wear your hair back while you're at school but don't cut it if you don't want to.

i think its totally cool having long hairs. but considering the suggestions frm teachers, u can trim them slightly short, after all its ur choice . juz do things dat really makes u happy

The moment you feel comfortable with whatever you have then I think you should not be too much bothering about what others are saying to you, my brother-in-law gor long hair and he loves it, his hair is more longer than mine and more beautiful too so I don't think you should be believing that its wrong when you are loving it.

Basically I am not fond to see guys with long hair but that doesn't mean I want you to cut it. What you want to do with your hair is your choice. Keep it long or keep it short, it's for you to decide, not others. So if you love your long hair, keep it! Maybe you have beautiful long hair that they envy, that's why they want you to cut it.

I would say that you should only listen to your heart.Decide for yourself what is good for you.Do not listen to ANYONE! these are YOUR hair we are talking about so it should be YOUR decision.
See what suits you the best.Everyone has their own individual personality.You are different i guess,and that is why the people around you find it hard to digest but i would say never to give up on yourself and maintain your individuality.
But yes of course do not get egoistic now,just try to find out the best way for you.Think about yourself flushing out all that others have to say...

no there is nothing wrong to keep long hair because now it is fashion to keep hair long..

I don't mind if guys have long hair, but if you're going to have a career after college and you'll be applying for a job, there's extra points for good hygiene. They usually hire guys with clean cut and short hair. We're just accustomed to see guys that way, but I don't see a problem with that so long as you look nice with it. But if its looks untidy why would you keep it? If your comfortable with it why would you cut?

All I want to say to you is, be confident of who you are. If YOU want to have long hair,keep it.It is your hair, why bother about what others have to say about your hair?:)It doesn't affect them in anyway,on the other hand it makes you happy!!So just go for it.
