Loose weight... just by taking pills!!?? |
|
I was curious to know how many of you take pills to reduce or maintain your weight. Also, do you consider that they may have side effects in the long run, even though most if not all claim that there are no side effects.
I don't take any such pills, nor will I ever. I am more of the work out and stay fit kind of a person.
But I wanted some of you to share your experiences.I wanted to know if they really do work.

1. mysdianait (11994) | 7 months ago | I have never taken pills to lose weight. Only one thing makes me lose weight and that's a proper diet and regular excercise. I did take some sort of liquid meal substitute years ago at lunchtime and that was for convenience as I was working and had a half hour break so it was also handy.
I would not ever consider pills to lose weight. I try and avoid them for almost anything. I have to have a really bad headache before I take anything (the last one was years ago too now Icome to think of it).

cbeee3 (842) | 7 months ago | Same is the case with me. I only take pills as the last resort for anything, let alone weight loss. I think a balanced diet and regular excercise is enough to keep anyone fit. I believe, in today's fast paced life, people look for quick fixes.Cannot really blame them, but then there are side effects too.

2. flutterbykisses (444) | 7 months ago | Well cbee, it's like this......I did take them one time and they did rev my motor up til I thought it was going to pop a gasket. My heart was going 90 miles an hour and I couldn't have sat down if I wanted to.
I just don't know for the life of me how these young people do thid speed all the time and why? Good Lord they are going faster than time is and missing everything along the way.
Anyway, I did loose weight, but when I stopped taking them and settled back down I put it all back on again.
I am with you, exercise and working out is the way to go and not so hard on the body as the pills are.

cbeee3 (842) | 7 months ago | Wonderful to read your experience. I think quick fixes are a no no. I always had a hunch that most of these pills and diets that they sell have some side effects that pop up at some time. Thanks for your response as always:)
