|  I wrote a novel... Locked Hearts. It is the story of Maggie and Sam, who meet and in the span of a few days they love a lifetime's worth. And so the story goes.
In the story there is a Celtic pendant Sam gives Maggie. It is a Love Knot pendant called Maggie's Heart. It's based on characters in the story Locked Hearts, where two hearts are forever entwined, not knowing where one heart ends and the the other begins. One came in the mail today. I'd ordered it when I ordered this Celtic ring with a similar design. I got it I guess to hold on to, and to hang from my lamp next to a Celtic cross pendant I have with polished heather in the center.
Here's a picture of Maggie's Heart. Kind of makes me want to start the story up again.

| |  Celtic jewelry is lovely. Hubby and I chose Celtic knot rings for our wedding rings. Hubby's wore out. They were sterling and that wears out. Beautiful work though.

| | I did, but then I took it down. I wrote the story back in early 2005. It's been sitting since then. I shopped it around a little and got no takers and then let it gather dust in my hard drive and inside my head.
It's about a widower and a married woman who have this torrid week-long affair over the Fourth of July and how that one week changes their lives forever.

I found several sites designed for writers to critique each others work, to bounce ideas around, etc. I found nothing for readers, where the presentation was a little more polished, although I'm not saying that there aren't any...I just couldn't find them. Do you know of any? That's the type of place you could publish some of your work and develop a following? | | | |

| |  I haven't seen the pic yet as I've come in on this discussion straight from my e-mail and can't find the darned thing in your profile's activity section. It sounds really nice though and the story sounds quite intriguing. Is the story set in Ireland, my friend, or where is the Celtic connection? If this is one of the stories you have writer's block on, then maybe it will encourage you to pick up the pen again.

The problem was, I clicked on "Respond to This Discussion" in my e-mail, and it bypasses the front page and goes direct into the response box, so I couldn't see it right away. Yes, I read the connection in the locked hearts, but I wondered where the story was set, as a Celtic knot was included. Thank you for resolving that one for me too. It sounds like a good story.
