Adidas: donate old shoes to get discount for your new pair

Adidas has this promotion: you donate an old pair of shoes (rubber shoes and NOT sandals, stilettos, flip flops, leather, etc) and you get a HUGE discount for your next purchase.

The discount rates that I know of are:
Php500 (almost $11) off for Php1000 - Php2000
Php1000(almost $20) off for Php2001 - Php4000

That sounds like a very VERY good deal and you can donate any brand of shoes as long as they are still reusable. These donated shoes will be given to Adidas' choice of charity (forgot which).

I know that this promo was extended until May30 but I'm not sure if you have it in your country, do you?

Hello, oyenkai! Well, that was a good idea. The old shoes that we do not use can be donated to avail discount on new shoes. Does the pair of old shoes to be donated must be adidas also? Or rubber shoes of any brand will be accepted to avail the discount? If it is, that would be great.

Hey there! I've seen posters and heard ads on the radio about this promo. My girlfriend was planning on trading in some old shoes for some new ones but decided not to anymore. I'm happy with the shoes I have now so I'm not really shoe hunting. I did check out an Adidas store in the mall and saw that even if I trade my old shoes in, the price of the new pair I would purchase is still really high.

I know what you mean... if you actually have a good pair of shoes then buying another pair then it's still somewhat a waste to buy a new pair:P I was thinking of availing Adidas' promo but I guess I'd just buy myself a new bag:)
