When do you started to play volley?

For me. maybe it's 14 or 15 years old, I can't remeber the exact time.

Hmm, I was in the fourth grade when I truly started playing volleyball, I became a varsity in our school till the 6th grade. But then, when I was in the 7Th grade, I turn to softball & baseball... I played the latter sport till after college.

I didn't start until I was in high school, I still love it, just don't get to play as much anymore.

born to play volleyball. as i remember i started playing when i was in grade school until i finish schooloing. proud to be part of school varsity.

I played when I was in grade 4 elementary school, then I stopped because I was not THAT good at it and only the "talented" kids were allowed to play:P I was still able to play volleyball in high school for fun and with friends.

I really like the sport. However, I seem to get some kind of rashes after playing. I think it's because of the dirt on the ball - sensitive skin much?

I started playing Volley ball in 7th grade.. From there I contunied to play until my sophimore year of high school.. That is when we move out of town, and I didnt make the try outs in the new school.. But I still love to play!

I think I started to play when I was like 15-16 years old.

I learned in grade school and enjoyed it quite a bit. Greatest moment probably came in high school. I played in a very obscure church league and most people in high school thought I had virtually no knowledge of the game whatsoever. Our junior team needed someone to practice against tuning up for the league championship (which they won by the way). I was in an optional basketball practice at the time. Four of the guys with me had played on the senior team and were recruited along with our coach. They needed a sixth body to complete the team so they asked me. I lined up across from their lead striker and because of my size no one argued. They found out what my best skill was on the first play of the game. Text book bump set and spike. Only he ate the spike, I fed it to him.

For me, I was 18 years old. My ex-girlfriend was the star of the high school volleyball team and she got me interested. At the time, I was 6'2" but had a good jump so I was a decent front line player. She was the setter on her team so it was perfect. Over the years, I've learned to be a lot better rounded player due to conditioning and just to be better. My defenisve play is my strength now and I still have a wicked spike but being 45, I don't get off the floor as high as before.

It's a great sport and even better in the sand.

Hmmmm... I was in Sixth grade when I joined varsity and learned to hit the ball. Since then, I become addicted to it and started to join varsities until I finished schooling. Until now I'm a big fan of volleyball. I love to see players in action.
