He must be some great guy who was bored after urination with nothing else to look at. So he thought about seeing the guest from a 'single-perspective' view- and found that it was interesting... so he must have decided to use it..

No, the snake is not mine. I just borrowed to have my picture taken. It was in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam.

I must admit if I were a male I would be bored if I had to stand looking at the usual tiled wall of a urinal trying to avert my gaze from other flys being undone lol At least women have a door and sometimes a hook to look at

Hi Alice, It is not always a tiled wall. I know a pub in Glasgow City centre where they put the daily papers under a glass panel. You can have a read while you pee but have to remember some poor sod might be waiting for the space so look at only the short articles, please! Col.

Hi Lakota, I must admit I was a little hesitant but only because I would not want to offend anyone. Ladies feel different about this from men and I cannot imagine any place trying this kind of thing in the female toilets. I wish I had taken a picture.
Would have been funny to watch for a man going in and then stand outside in front of the mirror and take a picture when you thought he was in mid stream! Sorry, my wicked mind is misbehaving again. Hope you are not shocked.

I wonder if there is one man who would find it difficult or one lady who could use such a toilet. Have never seen pictures of the European toilet you mention. Do you know where it is?.

Actually, I just found pictures of a similar toilet in Texas! I'm rather surprised we have one in the US, but I guess there's bathroom humor everywhere. Here's the link:

In 1982 I was in the gents toilet at Stirling University and was highly amused by the witty comments scrawled all over the walls. I only remember one and that deserved first prize. Some wit had drawn several vertical lines on the wall with about 18 inches between each line. At each level there was a comment about your achievement if you could pee that high. At the highest level was the written
"Please call the Stirling fire service. They could use you."
PS. I just failed to qualify!.

But you did try indeed! And great one too.

Hi maximax, Thanks for responding. Yes, I have come across some rather basic toilets in my travels too. Too bad you hit Darwin at the wrong time. I was really lucky with the weather and also had a fantastic tour of the Kakadu National Park.
