BEST gift for a wedding??

we usually give a red packet for a wedding couple, this is what they need and what they like to receive .

You can buy a dining set or a coffee set if you want... and have it wrap. There are some stuffs are already affordable prices.. Just buy only for the needs of home and couples. Don't buy the useless stuffs. It will hurt your pocket. Hope it helps. Just let me know if you still want more suggestions.

When we got married, we realized nobody gave us much for the bedroom. Therefore, whenever we attend weddings, we give a pair of pillow... yes, pillows. Because nobody thinks of giving them. That way also, the couple remembers us for what we gave them. LOL! Sometimes, giving bedsheets and towels are also the best. These are the items that the couple end up buying most of the time and it would have been better if they got it as a gift.

I am not married nor have I individually selected a gift. But I have a plan for people who may get married and a case arises when I have to buy them a gift. Here are some suggestions from my part:
-expensive item off of their registry
You can just analyze your friends conditions and decide on it. Give them something they don't think they're actually going to get.

-A luxurious hotel room for their first night:
You are married right? So no explanations.

-A gift to stand the test of time:
What would make your friend say: Look at this dear, do you remeber- 'Jazel gave it for our marriage'.

-Make their honeymoon extra sweet:
ticket for a tour, that's what I meant.Or just give them a camera or a resort ticket. Or just give them some money tucked inside a guidebook of the area.

-Money:
That's really dependent on their financial situation. The first thing a couple of thinks is 'investment for the future','for our baby', etc. Sometimes they may even have to repay the loans they took as a student! Only you know the answer.

Well I know different cultures do gifts differently. If your not sure what to give your friends for their wedding, think of things that others have given for wedding gifts, or if their is a tradition of gift giving, etc, if your not sure, look it up! If your friends want to know more about another country, etc, give them a gift from that country. I know in America the gifts given are usually for the home. If all else fails, give them a gift card.

I thought Wedding gifts were usually money. Whenever I've gone to a wedding that's what I gave. How much money also I believe depends on how big the wedding is and how close you are too the couple. Good Luck to you!

i usually give travellers cheques if the couple are going abroad for their honeymoon.

buying a household item can be risky, they might get two or three similar items and they can only use one so the others wont be appreciated.

by giving travellers cheques i am helping them, they have extra money for their honeymoon and they can spend it however they want.

give them money in a card or housewarming gifts

If you say photos, you are certainly right. But a really good wedding photo needs a photo frame so they can hang it on the wall or place it on a a surface.

A wedding photo frame would be a nice gift. Not only will the bride and groom look at the photo to remind them of their wedding day, they will also remember who gave them the photo frame.
