Do you drink coffee? How much do you spend on coffee? |
| |
| Do you drink coffee? What is your favorite kind of coffee? Me I love to have a good espresso in the morning I have a problem waking up and staying awake so I drink espresso. I usually only have a few cups maybe 3-4 and I am done for the day with coffee. Regular coffee don't do much for me just makes me have to use the bathroom from drinking too much so I stay with the espresso coffee it don't do much but wakes me up. So do you drink coffee to stay awake or just cause you like the taste of it? We have an espresso machine at home so it is pretty cheap for us. We buy espresso coffee at an Amish store. That store is about 35 miles from here so we only go there when we can afford to buy enough to last awhile. We get our coffee for about 3 bucks a pound that is a good price since at any other store it cost about 10 bucks for the same bag of coffee. So how much can you buy your coffee for? | | | | | |

| | Espresso does have a powerful kick but I really have a hard time staying awake cause of the car accident I was in. So I try to drink no more then 3-4 espresso's in the morning. I know about the shakes I don't walk and carry anything liquid without a tight lid on it and those flimsy cups they sell coffee in should be outlawed cause they aren't strong enough to hold water, much less hot coffee. I spend about 40.00 a month on coffee, espresso and the creamer it is hazelnut the creamer has all the sugar I need I don't add sugar to my coffee, espresso. My husband and I really like espresso's and usually don't have any other kind of coffee unless we are out of the espresso. | | | |

| | I will have to give it a try next time I am out. I keep a bottle of coffee that does have caffeine in it. The heart medication I take makes me tired most of the time, I usually get an hour or so at the start of the day that I have loads of energy but it dwindles really fast. I usually end up in bed by 8pm. If I want to stay up later than that I have to have something to do or some place I have to go. As long as I keep moving I can stay awake. I do find that drinking a couple of caffeinated coffees I can stay awake an extra hour or two. | | | |

| | I unfortunately am so addicted to coffee it's unreal LOL! Not the caffeine either just coffee period. I love the taste, the smell YUM... especially first thing in the morning when I wake up and smell a fresh pot Oh my that just makes my day. I must say I've never really considered the amount I spend on coffee but I don't usually go to the coffee shops as it's very expensive... maybe once ever two months or so I'll go get a mocha/espresso so that runs me $5 give or take a few. As for the monthly habit I normally buy Folgers but that's gotten so expensive that this month I broke down and bought the cheap stuff which was a good deal only $5 for a huge can of coffee. That will last myself and my family probably 2 months then we got a huge thing of powdered coffee mate at Costco for I think it was $6? So if you add in the sugar, creamer and coffee for 3 adults in our home it totals out to roughly $11 per month. I myself am slowly decreasing the sugar amount but it's not easy :( | | | |

| | Oh wait I remember what I was going to say LOL! Web my friend consider this your warning... Espresso OMG so with a hundred O's on the end of that so... DELICIOUS. It does pack it's little kick for sure and the taste is excellent. As for the shakes I get those too and I find that eating a piece or two of bread helps. Especially if you haven't eaten at all and had only coffee by noon or so, that's when I really get the shakes. That's why I'm cutting back on sugar, and coffee in general :( darnit I don't want to :((! | | | |

| | Webmann I wouldn't try anything without my doctors consent. I think it is better to talk to the doctor before you try anything with having to take heart medicine. Espresso does speed you up quite a bit. Keep healthy and safe Webmann Please. | | | |

| | Oh Webmann we go to bed pretty early not as early as 8pm but not too far after that. We get up between 3-4am that is why we go to bed early. Olydove 11 dollars a month is a good price. We don't use a lot of sugar either that is why we use the creamer with our coffee. It is a liquid creamer that has enough sugar in it to make the espresso taste great. I agree with you there is no better smell in the morning to me then a good cup of coffee. | | | |

| | Coffee, coffee, coffee, I LOVE coffee! As far as what my favorite is, it depends on time of day, weather, my mood and economics. On a cold winter day - the stronger the better with real cream and sweetner When I need a mood lifter - Dunkin D's hazelnut with 1 cream and sweetner Grind your own beans - when I can Most of the time - $4 large can from Sav-a-lot. A nice treat if I don't have real cream is a scoop of ice cream . All and all- I Love coffee! Oh, try a little cinimon in the grounds at brewing. It will take away bitterness from cheap coffee. | | | | | | |

| | I don't drink coffee to keep me awake, I just drink it because I love it. I drink Nescafe which is a very nice branded coffee. It doesn't cost too much 250g for just $1.5 which is not much for me and its available at all the stores near my house. I know there are lots of other people for whom coffee is more than just a pleasure drink. | | | | | | |

| | I usually just drink regular coffee. Sometimes, at least when my husband and I were together, we would get different flavored coffee packets. We could get those for about a dollar and it would make one pot. We would do that on weekends. I would generally spend $4-6 on a big can of coffee. Now that I am at the mercy of what ever my daughter buys I have no idea what kind of coffee they buy. I drink usually two cups a day. Did you know that both coffee and tea are a "natural" diuretic which makes you go to the bathroom more. Coffee also raises your blood pressure some. | | | | | | |

| | I try not to drink a whole lot of coffee but when I do it is usually I would make my own from already ground coffee from Folgers or I would drink whatever has been made at work. I try to stay away from drinking caffeine but I know that coffee can be good in moderation. The times that I do drink coffee is because I need it for the energy boost and to be able to stay awake while I am at work. Since I work two jobs and have to stay up for long hours during the day, I sometimes unfortunately do rely on it. The amount I spend on coffee is not a whole lot. It is free at my work and I don't go through a whole lot of ground coffee at the house and in that case there is usually a sale on it in the market. | | | | | | |
