 I've got my pizza. I've got my Diet Coke. I'm stripped to my drawers and I'm on the couch, feet propped and tuned into Idol. Waiting for this Deal or No Deal madness to be done so we can get on to the results show.
Who is it?
Adam or Kris?
I say while Adam is the more flamboyant and possibly the heads up winner, I think Kris is more the Idol prototype. Would a fem-tweener vote for a guy who uses more makeup than she does? I'm not sure.
So talk to me people... running Idol commentary for the next two hours.
Pizza and Coke...$22.00, new silk boxer type lounging shorts $14.95... sitting in your skivvies munching pizza and watching Idol with the homeys... Priceless.

Well as for me, I say Adam all the way, I just love the way he sounds, almost every time when he sings I feel moved by him. Kris is good, he just doesnt possess as much star qualities as Adam does in my opinion, so to me, its only fair that adam wins!! enjoy your dinner and your night!!:)

To be honest I have not watch idol for many seasons, this is the first one I watched since probably season 2.. So I m actually not very familar with David Cook.

| 4. crimsonladybug (2062) | 8 months ago |  Hooray for Kris!!! I know that I have been the biggest playa-hater when it comes to Adam but Kris really did steal my heart with his Movie Songs er song. Ever since then I have been hoping for him to stay but bracing myself for him to leave and judging from his reactions to hearing his name in the "safe" group week after week, I think he was too.
I think this is good for both of them. The Idol's first release is always so ... commercial? The only one who really got away from having her first album "Idol-ized" was Carrie because her country style was what people voted for so they let her keep that. But if you compare Kelly's first album, her "Idol album," to her second, more personal album, they are markedly different. I think Kris will do better with the constraints placed on him by the Idol producers. Adam will be better off on his own where he can choose his own label. And no doubt about it he will have his pick of just about any label he might want to sign with.
As for your question about fem-tweeners and guy-liner.... have you seen Gerard Way? Brendon Urie? Pick up a TigerBeat (if you can find one sans Jonas Brothers or Robert Pattinson) and give it a thumb-through...teen girl bedrooms are covered in guy-liner.

| ORyansBelt2012 (2113) | 8 months ago | Let me tell you where I think Adam would just knock it out of the park... as the lead singer for Queen. I agree on the choice for Idol. Kris is more Idol friendly. Adam will do a Daughtry album and probably fare better commercially. I think Adam might have hurt his cause by doing retread songs he'd already done in the competition. David Cook last year continuing to do new material sounded fresh at the final where David Archuleta was a "been there, done that."
Though looking back I don't think there was any comparison between the two. Cook won that competition going away.
As for the Jonas Brothers, they look like what lawn gnomes would look like as youngsters. The one guy has an issue with the "brows" and the other... do something with the hair dude.
As for "Twilight"... it read and watched like it was written by a 14 year old girl for 14 year old girls. | |
