What meal do you prepare when you have no time to cook?

It's depend if I'm really hungry or not.. But it could be little pasta recipe, really simple, or salad, or soup.. in bad case a original sandwich ahha.

When I don't have time to cook for my family, I just serve instant Quaker outmeal. It's easy to prepared, just pour some hot water on it and it's ready.

My favorite is high-fiber cereals, with soy milk. I also have soups already cooked - you just add hot water.

as always, instant noodles.

When I shop, I generally anticipate the 'no time to cook' nights (being in college and working, they do tend to happen a lot). We always have some sort of quick meals ready, like Tysons meals for two, mac and cheese, canned things like spaghettios, raman noodles, hot dogs. Stuff like that which can be easily grabbed and thrown in the microwave or cooked for a couple of minutes and ready to eat. Then again, there's only two of us to feed and we're quite often on the go, so it really works out well.:)

I would have to say that for me, it would have to be spaghetti bog...it's easy to make when you use a ready made sauce & the mince can be cooked when frozen - speaking of which, that's what I'm gonna cook for dinner tonight.

Most of the time... if i have no time to cook... i just buy take out... there are a lot of fastfood chains and restaurants where i live... so there are a lot of food type to choose from... but i still prefer to prepare the food that my daughter and i will eat...

It's simple Instant noddle, LOL. This noddle always be my shot, if i don't have enough time to cook. my husband always accept it, but if only i have a good reason about it, LOL.

My fiance and I are just now learning how to cook. I picked up a few things but had forgotten them since I never did perfect them. Well now we're learning again. Most of the time the quick meals are either going out to eat, bringing something home, or just fixing sloppy joe's, taco's or spaghetti. Sometimes it's Salmon Stew for his parents, and a frozen pizza for us. I like the salmon stew but my fiance doesn't. I don't blame him, it took me a few eatings to get acquired to the taste. I love salmon patties. Woops, sorry off topic! I figure that when it comes to quick meals when we get our own place it's probably going to be just the same. Quick meals were always the same for me growing up. Oh yes, and taco's, I can't forget taco's, and hamburger helper too!

Since we all are rice lovers so dinner wont be complete without rice. On days I really don’t feel like cooking or my fridge is almost empty, I make a combi meal of khichdi…its rice and pulses and veggies all fried together with spices and then boiled and simmered till every items is cooked thru and soft. It has to have the consistency of thick porridge. Add a little butter on top and it’s the most yummy and nutritious meal ready.
