Newcastle United Relegated; Should Alan Shearer Remain as Manager

I am not a Newcastle United fan but I was really sad to see them get relegated from the premiership today. Alan Shearer said he was going to be manage the team for only the last 8 games but in the post match interview he did not rule out continuing as manager of the club. Do you think he should remain at the club as manager or he should just leave as he initially planned?
