The sadness of Jon and Kate  

I do not watch the show, I have a personal strike against reality tv. I think that both the parents are responsible for what ever happens to them.. It is not like they did not know that being on TV could ruin your life. All anyone has to do is look at the divorce rate in hollywood to realize that if you are on tv, it is likely that you will become a celebrity and things will go wrong.

They only did the show for the money, why else would you let a film crew into your home and loose all of your privacy. Not only that but knowing that they would only show what makes for good tv:Drama.

I think that it is horrible that they put their children in that situation, and I do not belive that they did not know that bad could come from it.

I've never watched their show & can find NO reason to watch it now. I'm wondering if maybe they weren't losing their ratings & decided to mix it up some to bring the ratings back up!!! From seeing them on some of the talk shows, Kate appears to be a Class A btch. Still that doesn't give Jon the right to turn his back on his family!!! Having eight children will stress ANY marriage. Having the cameras rolling 24/7 does nothing to help either!!! They made a pact with the devil & now they're paying for it. I don't feel sorry for Kate nor Jon. However, I do feel GREAT sadness for those eight bundles of joy!!! Personally, I despise reality shows no matter who it involves!!! I'll be glad when the tide changes again. Jon & Kate need to start saving some of the money they're making because it will eventually come to an end for real!!!

I admired Bobbi & Kenny McCaughey when their septuplets were born. They turned down any assistance from the large corporations that created a contract for the children to do commercials. The ONLY place they waivered from that was a deal with NBC & Anne Currie to let them do an interview once a year around the childrens' birthday. They are treated as normal children....not in the spotlight. They are expected to do chores. They are expected to work as a unit. They are expected to behave & act like little adults. From what I've seen they do all that & still manage to act like children. I think it would be easy to lose control of eight children if rules aren't established & enforced early on!!!

Uh... what show is this?

It is sad that it all has come down to this. But then again it could be something to just get the ratings up a bit so more people start to watch it again. Have you thought of that? Might be..If not then it is unfortunate that it is happening. No person deserves to be cheated on. Yes it is true it is time for the train to pull in, but lets hope she at least has their college funds settled so that they will be able to attend it if they so choose.
