I Am So Tired Of Rain!

well i guess you have to put up with the good with the bad. i am in canada and we some times get a couple of days of rain in a row, maybe even 3 (that is when i start to feel like Noah and wonder if i should be building an ark. i think i would rather have rain than snow though, at least you dont have to shovel it.

You know, I really enjoy a good rainy day once in a while, but several days in a row is just too much! It has been raining here for 4 or 5 days straight, and the weather forecast says it's going to keep up for another week. I live in Colorado! It's supposed to be a near-desert climate here!

I understand 9 days of rain is awfull. I live in Quebec province of Canada and our summers are short and sometimes cool. Last year in 2008, we had a nasty cold and rainy summer. Yes we had rain for 15 days straight in July and so many vacations were cancelled. And it was cool also, it was only in the mid-60's or 18 to 23C . We had lots of severe storms and small tornadoes. I hate when it rains like that and my summer was so wasted. In then in mid-september, we got our first frosts and then snow in mid-october....i did even see that summer, it was cold, rainy and boring. So i wish and hope for a better one for this 2009 summer.

So yes i understand that you are fed up of your rains in Florida, but at least you get warm temperatures.

I guess, when the sun comes out...go out and enjoy it.

We must live close by! It has rained and rained here and you can't make plans because there is 50% rain forecasted just about every day of the week! I'm really sick of it here too. Don't even mention hurricane season--I've had enough of all that too for a few years.

hi melissaruth if I had 9 consecutive days of rain I would be tired of it more so in the normally beautiful month of May.
Hope the rain stops soon and you will have nice sunny weather as well.

Hi melissa and if you would like you can send some this way. We entered winter last year in drought and even though we had alot of anow this winter we have had a pretty dry spring and I am sure our water table could be increased some.

I is always a worry for me because our well went dry one summer and we had to buy water for a couple months until we got our water back. It was a hassle having to go into the city to my daughter and shower all the time but thank God she had water that we could do it.
They carried alot of water out to water the garden but it still did not do good that year becasue of the heat and lack of rain. I am so hoping with us having a dryer than normal spring we aren't in for the same kind of summer this year.

It is rallt scary when you turn your spigot on and get muddy water!!!
