 today is my surgery date, i am due for my operation at 2.30 UK time today, so i just want to thank those of you who have supported me and left me well wishes in my recent post and i promise that i will be back when i feel better, i am allowed to take my laptop with me because they supply internet connection, so maybe tomorrow IF i feel better and if i am not in too much pain, i will come and let you all know how things are, i did mention that i had vulval cancer so today they are taking it away and hopefully it won't come back this time, so please wish me luck and keep your fingers crossed for me, i am so nervous right now and i am pretty emotional but i am always like this when i have to go into hospital, i will miss my friends in here and i will miss my cats at home, my son is taking care of them for me, so guys if you don't see me here then you know why, have a great day all, thanks again for the well wishes, hopefully tomorrow i will come and say hello depending on how well i feel...take care everyone...hugs and love

I have to go this morning to get my hip injections. I'm not suppose to do anything for 24 hours after those things. But I will try to remember to come back in a say something to hopefully cheer you up. Love you.

| tattylashes (4295) | 7 months ago | hi moon, i am at home now, i begged the doc to let me come home as long as i stayed in bed, i am fine, sore as heck but relaxing on my recliner outside, it's a goergeous hot day today, but i am just relaxing enjoying the sunshine and enjoying the view of my garden, all went well with my surgery, they took everything away that shouldn't be there....so i am happy with that, thankyou so much for sending me well wishes, your a lovely friend.....  thankyou... | |

They'd better get it ALL this time or I'm just gonna have to make that trip across the pond sooner than I had thought I would and punch that doctor right square in the mouth! You don't need to be going through this again... geez!
But, like I told you earlier, I honestly believe that you're going to come through this fine and dandy, better than ever, so that means they'll get it all this time.
Take care of yourself, relax and let them pamper you as much as they will. Then, still take it easy and pamper yourself. THEN, you can come back and we'll pamper you!
It'll all be over with soon. I know you're anxious, that can't be helped right before surgery, but know that you're in my thoughts as well as many others here in myLot. You have a lot of friends here!

| mentalward (4300) | 7 months ago | That's great news, Tatty! I'm happy that they let you go home. I've noticed, with all the surgeries I've had in my lifetime, that being home tends to help us heal faster, as long as we don't overdo it.
So, take it easy! I know you will do as the doctor ordered. I'll be thinking of you today as I plant the seeds you sent to replace the ones my idiot husband chopped down. I've also been keeping a close eye on my lilacs... the seeds are there, they're just not ready to harvest yet (still way too green).
Relaxing in the sun sounds like excellent therapy to me! Just don't get burned, okay? I've already had my first sunburn of the season so I'm more diligent about putting on sunscreen now. (I hate my "redhead" skin!) | |
