Poor Mr Bush!

I caught a piece of a news report that said that a number of former presidents, I don't imagine there are many left?, were going to speak at a gathering. Apparently, a group who dislike Mr. Bush is going to be there with a bunch of shoes and sandals. I don't know if they intend to throw them at an effigy of the former president or they want to try to fling them at the gentleman himself, but if they are intending to embarass him, they may want to think twice.

I don't hold a candle for any politician and have no affiliations, but I did see the shoe throwing incident on TV and you know what came to mind?

"Wow, I thought he was an old geezer? Did you see how he ducked both those missiles? Pretty spry, if you ask me." I was pretty impressed.

If they chuck the shoes and Mr. Bush gives an impressive repeat performance, his popularity rating may go up, which I think may be against their intentions.
