trying grapples  | |  You know, the apples they add grape flavor to? The cost is very high, at 3.99 for 4, but I found some on sale for 1.49 and thought I would finally try it. They were not bad, had a strong grape smell and just a little grape flavor, but it wasn't good enough to try again, especially at those prices.
Now, I am wondering, how to pronouced this fruit because I call it grap-ple with the first a short and my son calls them grape-les, pronoucing the word grape, the first a is long. How do you say it?

(found that out here when I inquired what they were) So it isn't something I would get all the time, especially since the price is high, but happy I did get to try them..:) | |
