Who's On First? Famous Abbott and Costello Routine, Just Incredible  | |  I'm sure many have heard the comedy routine by Abbott and Costello.
Who's on first, What's on second, I DUNNO's on third.
What a brilliant and talented duo they were! I had heard it before, but I got to hear it again this morning. The rapid fire exchange between them and the speed and accuracy with which they went through that routine was utterly amazing. Talk about keeping your eye on the ball!
They never seemed to miss a beat. I like the fact that they were funny without resorting to baser forms of humor. This was funny, but it also was an intellectual treat. A couple of verbal jugglers. Very entertaining.

I loved their re-enactments/spoofs of movies and classic stories, like the one about "Nora Desmond" the has been film star of "Sunset Blvd" Carol is hilarious in that!
She also did a mock of Scarlett O'hara, you know the part where she gets Mammy to make her a dress out of the old drapes? Well, Carol's Scarlett goes a step further and wears the curtain rod as shoulder pads!
Tim Conway was incredible! What an acrobat! He made what he did look easy! | |

We lived in Italy and although we missed their original voices I loved them so much and I thought they were hilarious. They sure don’t make them like they used to!
