when watching television with family, who usually have the remote control?  

I live alone BUT my tv does not have a remote. It is older so it has a dial to turn to the stations and I have to get up off my lazy butt and walk across the room to change the channel. Its a piece of cake.....not difficult at all.

This is an intersting question. We always have clashes regarding handling of remote. We have only one TV at home. My Dad wants to watch news 24 hours, my mom likes TV shows and reality shows, my brother likes boxing, my sister likes movies, and like watching songs. So, you can guess what is happening in my house.

LOL I am the remote control Queen in this house but I am capable of sharing at times too...

It's good thing that our remote control was already gone
for a long time. I still can remember when it's still operational.
We will have quarrel every now and then who's going to hold the
remote control.

This seems to be a very common problem in the household throughout the world. Whoever controls the remote control, controls the TV. hahaha.
Sometimes it really gets ugly especially if your favorite TV shows happens to be on the same time slot. Unfortunately, only one must win. In my household, I usually give in to my kids or to my wife. Once this happens, I normally just open my laptop and surf the net. But guys, do you know that you can turn your computer into a TV with more than 4000 channels coming from different countries? I just stumble upon a software that you just have to install in your PC and your PC suddenly becomes a Super TV. I think this is great since now there's an option to watch TV programs from a huge number of channels from different country in your computer. Imagine if you travel and you have this software in your laptop? Then you can watch TV where ever you are as long as there's internet connection. You'll never miss your favorite shows again. Has it ever happened to you that you have a TV special or your favorite TV show is showing but you are in the office?
Well, I know this happens to me. Now with this software in your laptop, you can watch TV while at work....Shhhhhh, don't tell your boss..Ha ha ha.
