Faith, faith, faith in ourselves, faith in God

This is true. One must always have faith in oneself in order to go forth in this world and succeed in anything no matter how minor or great. If you do not have faith in yourself no one else will have faith in you either and you will not be able to function. Good Post!

Swamiji was right in saying that. He had faith in himself from the moment he landed in chicago to deliver the famous speech in the pariliament of religions to the moment he breathed his last in 1902.

I agree...having faith in oneself over some outside being whether seen or unseen is far more beneficial and logical really...I dont put my faith in any god/goddess or higher power or any other person for that matter...My faith in my life is faith in myself

Yes, beliieve in yourself and you can believe in others and then you can find spirituality.

This seems to be very nice. I have always been opposing when my parents tell go and worship this god, go worship that god. More than salvation, people worship god for some personal demands and I find them totally silly. Happiness comes with good deeds not from the worship. No miracle can happen in this world to fulfill our unlimited demands. Because everything in this world goes with a rule, a rule of balance and except this nothing happens.

Again, there is not all the people who believe there is god. God is the relative truth that is not necessary true for every one. But I the people have no doubt about the existence of spirituality and I believe in spirituality, that is what the absolute truth to me.

You seem to be the nice fan of Vivekananda and last time also I remember responding one of the discussion created by you with a statement on Vivekananda. There was a time, when we read the life story of Vivekananda as one of our chapter. His teachings are really nice and I admire him.

That's why I focus on knowing the inner truth, the spirituality. And for this I prefer meditation and I have been doing too but just since few days. Meditation is really the worthy thing to connect ourselves to our inner truth.

Swami Vivekananda has said it in short understandable way. he was one of the main source for the independence movement and now many even refuse to acknowledge that naked fact.

Here is one of Swamiji's sayings on Bhagavat Gita:
"Be Strong, my young friends, that is my advice to you. You will be nearer to heaven through football than through the study of the Gita. These are bold words, but I have to say them, for I love you. I know where the shoes pinches. I have gained a little experience . You will understand the Gita better with your biceps, your muscles, a little stronger."

The above speech inspired the barefooted Mohun Bagan Footbal Club which won the IFA Shield beating the Yorkshire XI in 1911.

That is faith in one-self.
