Mom Did Great!! Whew!!

Thanks Grandpa Bob. It has been an emotional roller coaster the last two days and I'm soooooo glad it's over for at least another 6 months. Mom said that if she makes it through it this time, she won't be so scared the next time. I'm holding her to that for she had me so frazzled with her being so upset. Wish she could be a little more laid back like your dad. Not feeling-less but not so up tight like she is.
That's great that you're meeting GG!! Lucky you!! Maybe some day I'll be lucky to get to meet her too. We'll see how things go. She's been a real strong shoulder friend to me for a couple of years and I don't forget things like that easily.
Wish we could send you the damned rain!! lol We're way above the average or what we need we certainly don't need any more right now.

Dinner was great, and I just wish I could travel all over the country meeting my MyLot friends. Swim some strokes for me tomorrow. I am off to find socks to sleep in, Minnesota is cold at night.

I know and agree GG but if it's ever meant to be then we will meet but if not, we can still love one another from afar. lol But I still hope to meet you one day and grandpa Bob too.

Yes indeed! Awesome news!! Gosh, these past two days have done a hell of a number on hubby and I!! Wow! Talking about stress to the max and beyond!! I was about to pop a bubble somewhere! lol We got some rest this afternoon right after I posted this and we both slept till 5 this afternoon. We probably won't sleep very good tonight but that's ok, we'll manage to get it right in the next few days. The pool was so refreshing in this awful heat and humidity. Yes indeed! Thank Heavens for A/C!! I don't know how the women survived it back in the 1800's and before with those big poofed out dresses and hats. I'd have suffocated to death!! lol

Yup she's a toughy alright. Sweet, soft and loving on the outside and tough on the inside, that's my mom. She's taught me to be the same way but I don't know if I can ever be as tough as she is. Thanks so much for your kind words!!

Hi book, she told me about it but I had forgotten. My mind is swirling with so much with other things that I forgot about it and didn't know mom was THAT scared. I knew she wasn't looking forward to it but had no idea that she was THAT scared. Dad had called me yesterday early afternoon about it and how upset mom was and needed help to calm her down and that's when I remembered and I flew up there and found her in a mess of nerves, crying sobbing tears saying she's scared that she may die and so on and on..... I was so near to losing it again. It was absolute horror for me and got me pretty frazzled and is why I posted the discussion because I soooo needed the prayers. I would have told you about it sooner had I remembered.

Please be easy on yourself with working those long hours!! I do worry about you and your vacation being what it's suppose to be.....

Thanks, but gosh what an emotional drainer to see mom so worked up over it but now that it's over with and she's fine, I can finally calm down. I have so much more to tell in my next discussion, I would've added it here but I was too darned tired to at the time but now I will once I get caught up a bit.

awww thank you hun...she has been shaking here for 3 years now...and one of my friends here is the one that made her for me...I use it on all sites...even over at My Space..heck one day I changed my pic there and you would of thought the world came to an end...had about 50+ messages to put her back...people thouht I left the net...lol...she is loved.

Oh of course GG! I couldn't ask for prayers and not give an update! I will give her a hug from you and everybody. Thanks so much for caring and praying for her!! Hugs to you too!!
