| Your favourite cinema/movie theater  | | | |  I love art house cinemas - the non multiplex/mall where you watch quality films (often foreign language or indepedents). What are these called in other countries and what are they like?
In Britain, I note a downward trend of late. They used to have a diffent feel - relaxed, more timeless- but now they are trying to be trendy and loosing the very character that made them sepcial. And showing opera by satellite and blockbusters
I love old cinemas (esp 1910s) but also converted builings- we have medieval buildings, industrial buildings, chapels, a carpet warehouse and a snooker club that all serve as cinemas
Very important to me is the cafe bar to enjoy food drink and good company - or to relax alone aunitl late.
I like the events and seasons that arts cinemas have too. And the lack of popcorn

| |  In Indonesia a theatre usually attached to the mall. So instead having its own building, you can go shopping or eating somewhere and then watching movies. Our movie theatres largest group called 21 which has around 50+ theatres only in Jakarta, then followed by a newer group called Blitz Megaplex, open 2 years ago and now has 4 theatres. Blitz is trendier and the theatre is so big and hip, you can play games, listening music in its own separate room, but the seat is quite uncomfortable. 21 is more elegant and sometimes it has several Premiere studio which is very posh and quite expensive to watch there, around $10, but you get a blanket and reclining sofa, very comfortable

| |  Well my town has a small one with only 2 screen's and it's kool like the old day and tuesday's it's free for the movie has been for 20 year's..
But I really love the drive-in I mean pull your car up and watch 2 movie's for the price of one and if you hit the lucky day on the moth it's movie's till DAWN...
