That is shocking that a student would do something like that. It could of ruined the principals reputation and job. I agree that suspension doesn't seem firm enough.

Hi Cher, Well it is definitely deframation of character and like you say could have cost the teacher their career but it has already affected his reputation and his character has been tarnished as most people are firm believers in there is no smoke without fire. I don't think 10 days suspension is enough and she should be expelled, I can't believe her mother is condoning this. The girl would have probably got away with it had she not uploaded a photo as she did use a different name for the teacher. We have pupils excluded for far less than this here in the UK and she needs to learn a lesson. Huggles. Ellie:D

I think they were lenient with her, they probably looked at her school record, if she was a trouble maker or good student before this etc. She is lucky she wasn't expelled, may she has learned her lesson from this now.

I am thinking I would send her to a Catholic all girl school for a year or two and see if that would change her thinking. I hear those Catholic nuns can scare the bejees out of you.

Kids and teenagers get away with murder now days. It's never their fault. They were not hugged enough, the principal came down too hard on them...Puh-lease! You can't punish a child appropriately anymore and not get sued! It's not just a prank. It's not funny, and it is serious. I'm also tired of parents defending their kids when their children's actions are unacceptable. When I got in trouble at school, my parents held no one responsible but me. No one makes these kids be accountable for their actions anymore.
