I have a beer with friends a few times a month or sit with a friend and have a glass of wine. If I have company for dinner, I'll open a nice bottle of wine from my collection. 1 or 2 drinks won't ruin anyones life. Wine is mentioned in the bible. People have been drinking in moderation for eternity.

If you can't live without alcohol, than it is very bad. You have to be careful with it, because it is a drug! Next you will waste your money because of it.

| | | 4. danishcanadian (20575) | 4 weeks ago |  Alcohol for me is a drink that i enjoy in very small amounts. Right now I am drinking a small glass of Slivovitz (Serbian plum brandy). The stuff is 80 proof, so I am only having a tine bit (a few ml). It tastes good. I'll drink one shot, maybe two, and then I'll put the cap back on the bottle for another day. If people only drank in small amounts, they would not become addicted.
