Do you still think it's Guns N' Roses?  | |  We all know that Axl Rose is the chief songwriter of the band. He also won the right to use the name Guns N' Roses. It has been known that the band experienced multiple changes in the lineup and Axl is only sole survivor from the original lineup (Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy, Duff and Steven). Do you think the current lineup now is still Guns N Roses?

CJgirly (65) | 7 months ago |  I was, and probably always will be a huge guns n' roses fan. i still love Axl, but i gotta admit, i haven't heard or cared to hear chinese democracy, there's like 8 guys in the band now (or something like that) and i don't know who any of them are. the tracks i heard from new album didnt impress me much. i know people waited for so long for that album to come out and a lot were disappointed. I really loved everything pre democracy. appetite, gn'r lies, use your illusion 1 & 2. so i guess when i say i'll always be a fan i mean of the old guns n roses, but I'll always love Axl:)

| | | 3. inkstainedheart (476) | 7 months ago |  A couple years ago, I saw Guns N Roses in concert. As usual, Axl was late, and although his voice sounded MUCH better than the last your he did, it just wasn't the same without the rest of the band.
Not too long after this concert, I saw a gig by a Guns N Roses cover band, Appetite for Destruction. Not only do they sound like the original band in the 80s, they look and dress like them as well! I actually enjoyed myself more at this $10 gig than the "real" Guns N Roses concert!
