ABBA fans

I liked Abba but must say that my favorites are still the REAL oldies, like The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jimi Hendrix, things like that.

I never tried to look like anyone though. The closest I got was getting my hair cut like Twiggy. I'm not sure if you remember her but, being British, I think you might. I loved her haircut way back when. I even went on a local TV show that had dancing and famous live performers (who all lip synched to their songs). That show was taped earlier and played that night so I was able to see myself making a fool out of myself dancing, but my hair looked good! LOL

Oh! The Kirby Scott Show! That was the name of it. I couldn't remember it until it just popped right into the old noggin.

During the late '70s I was busy working and renovating a house and didn't have time to try looking like anyone except an extremely tired working gal. During the '80s, I was too busy with my young family to even THINK of trying to look good!

I wish you had a photo of yourself in those satin trousers, boots and woolen skull cap!

are you kidding Danceing Queen is on my Ipod i love that song there are a couple abbaq songs i liked like know me knowing you an frendo Yes those were the days I didnt dree like them though but I did love them I heard they were offered a million dollars for a comeback concert but they decline Why i do not know but it would of been nice if they took the money an toured again huh

Well I have heard one song of ABBA. Money, Money... It was a good song and I enjoyed it. I was not their fan, but I really respect them.

I used to try to look like Paul McCartney, which was difficult considering I was 11 or 12 and a girl.

I'm from a different generation, I was a massive Beatles fan.

We used to dance to abba at the school disco's in the dinner time or sometimes after school.the music is just timeless,it will never go out of fashion.I went to see maa mia at the cinema and just loved it all.The music acting,was fantastic.I could listen to Abba all day long.I have a dream is one of my favourites and Dancing queen also they are all brilliant,never got to wear the gear though,to late for those tight pants.

I am too young to have been an ABBA fan in those days, even though I do know their songs and like them a lot. The musical 'mamma mia' that features a lot of their songs is one of my all time favourite movies. I have the musical on DVD and the soundtrack aswell. The music is timeless. I am looking forward to september as this musical will be back on stage in Holland then, yippee!
I never dressed like them though, but that's because like I said, ABBA was a bit before my disco-time .

Yeah I loved the ABBA too and was a fan, my favourite was "Fernando" but I love all ABBA songs and still do but I've never dressed up like any of the girls, as I was too shy and never really went out much, but ohhh! I bet you look smashing and don't forget it was fashionalbe then so no need to cringe, can you imagine what the kids these would say about themselves in anot 30 or 40 years time with what they are wearing now?, love and hugs.

I love ABBA music and I am glad of the revival with the Momma Mia musical/movie. But I NEVER dressed like them..lol

ABBA will forever be ABBA. I really liked their songs. Especially, Thank you for the music, dancing queen and Fernando. If you will just listen and absorb every notes of their songs, you will know that it touches your very soul. I am just sad that I haven't watched the Mama Mia movie yet. I just hoped that I can still catch the movie in the video shop, in that way I can know the story of ABBA.
