Do you like where you live ?  

Well, I live in the united states in ohio. It has harsh winters and hot summers. I'd be happy if it weren't for the snow and cold. I'd still liketo move somewhere with warm winters and maybe an ocean near by. My city is near a big one. So, it's quite crowded when driving or shopping. I'd prefer to be in the country like I grew up.

I live in Ventura County, California - about 80 miles north of Los Angeles and about 55 miles south of Santa Barbara.

And yes I love it here! The weather is great - doesn't vary too much since it's close to beach/pacific ocean. It doesn't get too hot, and it doesn't get too cold. Ventura is actually pretty ideal where traffic is not too bad unless you drive down to LA. There's enough to do - and if you want to do more, you can drive down to LA (or up to Santa Barbara). And if you just want to take in some serious scenery - you can drive through the PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY (PCH).

I'm not too sure if there's such a thing as a virtual tour of the area - I'm sure you can look in Google Earth and see.

It sounds like you live in beautiful and peaceful place. A place that I would enjoy living in. I live in a small town where the economy is pretty poor and it's devastating to my person because I do like the general area where I live. I have the ocean 20 minutes away from home, Disneyland about 40 minutes from home and the mountains roughly 20 minutes from home. If you ever don't see me on myLot for a couple of days or so it's because I'm in the mountains.

i live in quite a big city now but was brought up in a wee village, it was beautiful but there wasn't much to do as a kid

I have read about the good people of England and Scotland a week ago and I am really happy to see this discussion.As for me, I am from the Philippines.We are very happy hospitable people who are in a sense very clannish.There are areas which are agricultural, some industrial and some people live by fishing.We love our country and culture. We are proud of our selves .We love to study, to explore, to dwell on the arts and anything under the sun.Corruption do happen as in opther governments and the people find that intolerable.Nevertheless, we are content with every little things and blessings we have

The city where I live is a Suburb. Its a nice and quiet place to live. I guess the only pet peeve I have is the graffiti writing around the places I visit. The neighbors are nice and pleasant to be around.

i live in the biggest city in the whole world in terms of area. we only have two seasons, the dry and rainy season. and i have not experienced a storm in my entire life. lol. i dream of being able to live somewhere though and experience the feel of being away from home. and i like to experience the feel of winter.

Sometimes not but most of the time yes, I like the place where I live 'cause this is where my family happily bond together.

I don't enjoy living in Amsterdam to be honest. It's just annoying that nobody feels responsible for his neighbourhood as well as not knowing the name or phone number or other personal data of your neighbours.

The only positive thing about Amsterdams are tourists, the more the better for me, I like seeing new non-Dutch faces everyday.
