My sisters camera is broken,any ideas?

i would definitley buy another one. my little sister had the same camera and when it broke, we just got a new one. shes been happy with it ever since.

In my opinion, you might as well buy a new one is better. The LCD is a key part of camera, and there is no one can repair it except LCD vendor. You must pay a lot of money for repair it and it will be took long time. BTW, even it was repaired by someone, you will only get 3 month service warranty for it. The price of digital camera is going down, just buy a new one.

Okay, I suggest you should go for buying a new one as the repair cost of LCD is pretty high as it also had the touchscreen features in it.

Or do one thing, first confirm the damage i.e. is it only the LCD or some other part as well. I hope this helps.

Kodal easy share? i think it's durable i am thinking of buying them but i changed my mind after reading your discussions hehe.
My suggestion is buy a new one, coz fixing the LCD may cost as much as the new camera. How about warranty, isn't it covered?

buy a new camera. they're not that expensive anymore unless you get some super-pixel, mega camera that makes toast too.
