4. ketybhagat (1811) | 7 months ago | When my husband was abroad, I use to tell my son stories, but after he came back, he used to tell stories to my son. He was a wonderful story teller and could make stories out of the blue and tell them. Of course, he was interrupted by a hundred questions in between by the little one. But to my husbands credit, he could answer almost all the questions. I too would join in to listen. it was fun. Oh those good ol days.

| 5. loveykoh (59) | 7 months ago | i think moms got the natural talents when reading to their kids is concerned. like with my daughter, i change the tones of my voice depending on the character of the story. it makes her more interested and i can see from the expression on her face that she is enjoying and imagining everything that i'm reading to her and she responds and understands very well because she has loads of questions that it always takes me some time to finish the story.
