do you prefer fruits instead of synthetic vitamins?

fruits - are high in vitamins and minerals

my mom used to buy us bottles of vitamins and some minerals. they maybe in capsules,tablets or in syrup form. those served as supplement for us because we don't eat that much before.now that i have a kid of my own, i prefer to give real fruits instead of synthetic vitamins.i prepared shakes and juices out of these fruits.how about you?

nothing beats fresh fruit for breakfast, either on its own, with cereal, or freshly juiced. Same with vegetables, you can make some wonderful juices using things like carrot and celery, or experiment with veggies the kids say are yuk. i have never believed in taking vitamin tablets, but i would consider it if my doctor said it would be a benefit.

i often visit my doctor. she prescribed me some synthetic vitamins too. well, if i find time in peeling off fruits, i would prefer eating them.sometimes i got tired of doing that so id rather prefer synthetic vitamins sometimes.

Hi, when we were kids we had doses of vitamin Cs and iron in syrup forms and then in tablet forms. But we still eat fruit a lot. Then when I grew up I still have vitamin supplements. But now, I am not taking it anymore and it's been 3 months now. My reasons, I still get colds and fevers or coughs even when I take vitamin C a lot. Then I am not doing some stressful work now or I am staying at home. And I see to it that I eat more fruits and veggies now unlike before. And I did not have colds or fever even during the hot summer months.

don't take vit c when you have your cough.it would worsen it. try to avoid other foods especially mango when you have coughs. the fibers make you cough.

i love real fruits for the taste and the 'natural goodness'. but unfortunately, the 'natural goodness' isn't really easy to be obtained from the real fruits.. and therefore.. i still take supplements - and make my children take supplements as well..

I do prefer real fruits. I believe that it is important to eat them no matter how many vitamins we take, nothing can still beat the true vitamins fruits gives us. I make it a point to have fresh fruits in our house everyday. We either consume it as it is or turn it to juices to make it more delicious.

I prefer everything I can get that is more natural.. and the mor natural the better! I go organic whenever I can too. I think it's best to eat the fruit rather than the vitamins. I know so much of our food can be "washed out" because of our man-made methods and so for kids I wouldn't think it would be terrible to give them some sort of more "natural" vitamin also.
