Why not compare people with animals? We claim to be of higher intelligence but we cause wars, we kill others for sport, we (i mean people like you) teach children to hate others for no reason. So you see we are not of higher intelligence just have different intelligence from animals.

1) Homosexuality can't be spread because it is inborn, like having red hair or green eyes.

2) The world is overpopulated already. Quite frankly in this climate of global warming, world-wide food and water shortages, deforestation etc., human extinction should be the least of your concerns.

3) Conversely, if everyone adopted heterosexual behavior, married, popped out children, etc. the the world would be overpopulated. Mankind would be eating up the world's resources faster than a fat kid eats chocolate cake.

Homosexuality as population control is a good thing in this day and age. Don't worry, mother nature knows what she's doing.

3orabi, I'm not judgmental in all situation even regarding this topic, they can do anything they like but stay away from me when they are doing it, other than that I have no problem with them, I can deal with them in all of my daily activities, but I don't like to see two men kissing in front of me and that is a part of my own freedom as it is part of their freedom .
I know that homosexuality is not contagious but I don't like my children to think that it is normal because it is not and if it happen to see a lot of homosexual people around my children they might think that this is the normal thing because a lot of people are homosexuals, and then it will be hard to make them discard this idea

Hardly, your human nature may not adhere to homosexuality, but every person is different. Genetics definitely can play a role in a person's sexuality. First, if someone has an X or Y chromosome that is deformed this will naturally alter their gender identity. (Your X or Y chromosome determines whether you are a girl or a boy.) Additionally, while pregnant a woman feeds hormones to the fetus. Her body SHOULD feed the right hormones for the gender that the baby will be, however this is not always the case. Sometimes the body feeds the wrong type of hormones to the baby which can also lead someone to be genetically altered enough to be homosexual.

I'm not saying this is a disease or anything is wrong with these people either, it's just how they are born. And they should not be faulted for that.

By the way, your original post stated sin, therefore it's easy to belief that you were insinuating that this was about religious beliefs interfering in the lives of those who may not even hold religious beliefs at all. You should probably specify that you also mean it goes against human nature, despite the fact that it does not.

Exactly saffron. But hey, while we're on track of making up what we're in school for, I'm a medical student too. I'm smart enough to know that the human body doesn't always work like it's supposed to. I've also been pregnant and dealt with the overload of hormones that you have while pregnant. It doesn't take a medical degree or being in medical school to know that whatever a pregnant woman's body has the baby she is carrying receives. Whether it's food and nutrients, hormones, drugs, etc. Our bodies don't always work perfectly, therefore the wrong hormones can easily be created and given to the baby.

But, I'm not really a medical student. I just read and research things a lot.

From your other responses it's clear that you do in fact consider this a religious issue, meaning that at the base of your beliefs you feel that it is OK for you to force your religious beliefs onto those who don't believe the same as you. All your talk of Israel and Palestine, and you really are no better than those who you criticize. And you are just as blind as they are too, completely unable to see that you are just as wrong as they are.

It really is unfortunate, because you have a chance to show that you empathize with human suffering because of what you and those like you have gone through.
