Did you like the new Star trek movie?

I used to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation (TV series). I have also watched a few movies of Star Trek. I loved watching them. Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes Brent Spiner and other actors were amazing and looked professional on screen.
On the other hand the new Star Trek movie seemed like 'teen movie' actors made to act in Star Trek movie. I expected a lot more suspense, mystery and action but was left disappointed.
What are your views on the new movie and the movie in comparison with the TV series.

I have not seen their new movie. I have watched their older ones a few times though over the years. I am sure my husband wants to see the new Star Trak movie though. He likes that stuff.

If he likes special effects then he should watch it in a theatre. Otherwise just watch it when it comes on T.V.

Sorry, Vanillarey...I never watched Star Trek, or did I ever enjoy any space shows. They were always to technical for me...lol
