| Do you agree with musician and singers' videoclips nowadays? | | | | I'm saying that many videos are now showing famous singers with less clothes and vulgar moves on TV. Well, they are the teenagers' idols. Especially when it comes to the R n B songs. Lots are showing women with short and tight skirts + over exposure cleavage. Would it be educating for the teenagers or those below teenagers? I don't think it's appropriate. Not to mention more songs about nothing like I just watched a video from the cable entitled 'Love Sex Magic' by Ciara ft. Justin Timberlake with many vulgar moves. What's the point anyway? Are they selling songs or else? Maybe that's what people would love to see but that's no longer fun. We are not listening to the songs anymore but we're WATCHING the songs. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | I definitely think that a lot of music stars should put some more clothes on!! I guess that makes me a prude, I am only 25 though. Nowadays, we have what are called 'tweens' so it's girls from 9-12 who are also starting to idolise these music stars and try to emulate them. I really think that girls are trying to grow up way too fast and are missing out on an innocent childhood, like everyone should have while they still have the opportunity. I guess, though, the thing about pop music, is that just about anyone can sing as well as stars like Madonna or Britney Spears, so it's not about the quality of the singing, but the stars have to compete in a sort of 'hotness' competition. Susan Boyle, I think, is so admired, because it is a complete novelty for someone so unattractive to make it as a singer. It is sad, but pretty much true, that pop music has almost solely become a beauty pageant on a massive scale. | | | | | | | caesarin (329)

| | Hi ethereal1. Thanks very much for sharing. You have put my thought into words. I often this idea in my head and doesn't know how to put it into words. Anyway, they should really careful with what they are wearing because it starts to worrying me since I have 2 daughters. My elder which is only 3 yrs old can sing a bit of soap opera theme because sometimes she watched the soap opera with her grandma. I tried to stop it by play her a DVD for children of course during the soap opera time. This costs me my time but nothing else I can do. There's not much to SEE from the theme but it's an adult song and I don't like her sing adult songs instead of children songs. I don't want her to lose her childhood or maybe not lose but skip her childhood. Not to say looking at these pop music stars competing to be the sexiest. A beauty pageant in massive scale is the right word. Once again thanks very much for sharing. | | | | | | | Local Coupons 1 ridiculously huge coupon a day.
