 Throughout the years this topic has been debated, argued, rejected, tolerated and talked about over and over again.
What I'm here to discuss isn't here to say if homosexuality is right or wrong, but will give you a broader view to really think about.
For man or woman that chooses to have relationships of their same sex is their choice. Of course for them it is fine with them, they accept it and so they do so. It's obvious they share their love and devotion to each other.
Now somewhere in the line, tracing back in history, it was said, written and spoken that homosexuality is considered an abomination. Throughout history, it was recorded that it wasn't mankind that came up with this statement or command, but said to be a God, higher being, whom they call the Lord -- Of course those that speak of the Bible. The Bible many claimed from mankind that it's just a book from man and not from God. Some consider it silly and just a fairy tale. Despite of various translations and versions, the book itself speaks differently from what mankind says.
From what is said that, there are two sides, one is mankind which is us humans. The other side is a spiritual side, that being from a Spirit or that spoken from a God in His own saying and interpretation. Since the beginning, homosexuality has been around tracing back for how many thousands or even millions of years. It is stated that from the Spirit of whom they call God, that homosexuality was forbidden, an abomination since this God created male and female to produce more of their kind -- human population. It was said that this God called it wickedness and perversed. Therefore, this type of knowledge and saying traces back of wisdom from that God, not by humanity.
Now, us humans have our own way of thinking. We make choices, given free will, we live life with common sense and avoid of what we call good or bad. We have our own knowledge and our own wisdom. Of course it differs and is foreign to the knowledge and wisdom of whom they call God. It's obvious that homosexuality is accepted from our saying. Therefore, mankind allows people of the same sex to have their own relationships and own lifestyle. They don't think wrong of it, to them they love each other as if a male or female love each other.
Now, here's more of a twisted side but in all honesty of how this works. Since homosexuality is accepted, let's say that every person in the world is a homosexual, then how are people going to produce a population? They can't! Only way is if males give their sperm in a tube and if the woman is willing to offer one of her eggs to clone a child or have that sperm inserted in her from that male. Twisted isn't it? But that's just how it works for them if they choose to have children.
So then homosexuality is only considered right in the minds of people who live it, but it leaves out religion and spirituality since it is rejected by God. For me I don't say it's wrong because it's their choice. However, if homosexuals want to debate or argue to one who does say it's wrong will only waste their breath to people who say it's wrong. It's just better to bring out the subject to the One that said it was wrong to begin with.

Our sexuality is a continousoly developing process, and we do not have any power to change it. Everyone has to right to live freely as long as it does not impinge on other people's rights, so live and let live.

| cbeee3 (889) | 7 months ago |  I have to agree with daneg33 on this one. It is not a choice, even though some people still think it is. Just as most of us are born straight,people are born as homosexuals, transvestites etc.
It has a medical explanation behind it and anyone who knows it will never think that it is a choice a person makes.
In very simple language, when the foetus is being formed in the womb,certain hormones are produced that are needed for the brain development. Variations in these levels can cause the brain development of the foetus to change. This is what finally decides the sexual orientation of the person.

As for your friend, he was either experimenting around or he is bisexual.
And for the record I am straight and not biased...lol:)
I strictly believe in the policy, live and let live. Life is too short.

At a certain time and point in your life, you may simply look beyond the gender and choose to have your needs being fulfilled regardless of which gender fulfills them. What if we consider the Greek mythology instead. Some Gods are known to have relations with other Gods! Just like some Gods also commit infidelity towards their Goddess. Zeus is certainly NOT the most faithful God! Heck he even rapes humans by taking different forms! So since homosexuals are "banned" from Christians, I should start a new belief that homosexuals are Greek Gods reincarnated! That's awesome! Maybe in 2000 years, straight people will be at the mercy of homosexuals! Who knows!
Because we don't know who God is! Something higher than man kind needs to "exist" so that some humans can hold on to life and give a meaning to theirs. Instead of taking responsibilities for your actions and for who you are, blame it on God! God has a plan! God works in mysterious ways! Yeah... and what else!?
Commandments: Such "rules" are created simply to allow humans to live peacefully among themselves. Because us humans, we have wicknesses and we are not afraid to destroy our own kind to get what we want. If we stick to the basics of the 10 commandments, we'd be fine.
But nooo. Someone had to come and define more and create new rules. Years later, you got the Criminal code!
Anyway, I have so much to say about this that a post is not enough! I'm out!
