The stuff works great. I haven't had any in a while, but would love to buy it. Maybe I'll ask my mom to bring it when she comes to visit in the fall if I can't get any before then. I will make her feel useful. I should look for a new Avon lady here because Avon products rock; they're cheep and they aren't tested on animals. Of course the animal testing thing is ultra important for me. I am against vivisection. There is no need to test cosmetics on animals. All the ingredients have been tested time and time again.

Yes I had known about the Skin So Soft trick as well, but the fragance is too strong for me a gives me a headache. Received this little tidbit in an email today.
No More Mosquitoes
Place a dryer sheet in your pocket.
It will keep the mosquitoes away.
Haven't had a chance to try it yet and not sure if my unscented dryer sheets will work.

I had forgotten about this. I remember hearing about it before but never did anything about it which is stupid as mosquitos love me. I must be sweet!

It does work, my mom had us using it since we were kids (she was a avon lady). when I was a teen and went with her to Grenada, SSS really kept the bugs away, and now whenever I smell it I think of the tropical paradise I visited so long ago. People with pets should know that fleas don't like it ether, so use it if you're tired of getting ate up by the critters that hitch a ride inside on your dog or cat.

i use to use that all the time when i sold avon but now that i don't sell it anymore i stoped using it i went to get some the other day at the flea market and it was like $10 for the small bottle i thought that was crazy i use to pay 8 from avon reps when i stopped selling it and i would get 2 but that stuff seems to have gone up.

I beg to differ. I saw a report on 20/20 where they tested it by rubbing it all over someones arm and sticking the arm in a tank full of mosquitoes. I believe that arm got bit just as much if not more than the arms with the other products.
I don't use anything, I just wait until they bite and rub white vinegar on the bite.
The best thing to do to keep them from your yard is to get rid of any old tires or water areas they breed in.

I know about this because i got an e-mail from a friend, and i tried it and you are soooooooo right...IT WORKS!!!....I use to get eat up by mosquito's while working in my yard and after using skin so soft i was relieved...

Right now is a hectic, busy time for me, but as soon as things have settled down (of course I still have to sneak in and pop in here on MyLot now that I'm hooked despite my crazy hours and comign events), but I must send this note of your's on to my family, and we'll have to try it out! Especially some family members are tennis players, others walkers, and I am a feast for mosquitoes, it appears. ;o)

Ooh ooh, and thanks to MyLots, ha ha, ads/advertising, I see that eBay auctions have tons of this product (in individual or batches), esp. if any of you don't have any Avon distributors nearby. :o) I've never actually bought any Avon products, at least tha tI can remember.

And you solemn swear that I am not a distrbutor ;o)
