He was really really funny and almost luck is always on his side no matter what the situation is, simple or life threatening, he somehow pull it through safely and unharmed.. wow for capt. jack sparrow!!!

and as for real pirates, they quite often were on drugs
but I doubt Johnny Depp was playing the role, he IS an actor after all....

I agree Johnny Depp is an amazing actor. I've seen many of his movies and I used to watch him in the 1980's on 21 Jump Street.
