Best ant virus/Internet security software??  

I prefer to go for BitDefender Total Security, since it can prevent the unauthorised connections and ask you to take decisions for connections. It's firewall settings will be helpful for preventing intruders and hackers.
Regular updates will be given by the BitDefender,hence you can aware of the latest viruses. It also takes less memory than others.
It has a toolbar to prevent you from phissing sites.

I use Quick-heal anti-virus software . It does a good job in detecting and removing the most harmful viruses and trojans also . I have also used trend micro earlier but it makes my computer little slow . It consumes lots of memory. With quick-heal I do not notice any slowdown in my computer speed. You can also consider kaspersky anti-virus which is also quite good.

Frankly speaking, none.. It is because there is no such thing as perfect or 100% protection against viruses and hackers.. AV and internet security are software, software is a program, which is basically vulnerable to other programs such as virus.. You need to try first different names of AV and internet security software available or existed and you may find something that you prefer using later.. I personally used AVG Free as my anti-virus, I had been a user for few years now and never been had any major problems because of the software and most especially to virus who infected my system.. I also used Spybot Search and Destroy as an additional line of defense, been a user for almost a year now..

I have been using avg but I got some viruses and I figured it was no longer protecting me and I found avast. I am only using the free version which might not be as good as the paid version it seems to be adept at catching the malware. Cheers!!

Look, there is no such antivirus which can prevent every worm infiltration in your system. And these days, coders use FUDs so that nothing in the world can detect them.
Hence, I would advice you to continue with what you have been using for about 2 years if it has been successful in preventing and deleting viruses that it can detect.

hello friend my self anis and i suggest you to use only quick heal 2009 it is best than any other antivirus i had using quick heal from 5 year and it is the best the other antiviruses take so much system memory to load but quick heal take only 2% of system memory to load

Try Kaspersky or maybe AVG. It works well just don't forget to update them everyday or weekly.

I use AVG by Grisoft. It has proven itself to be the best for the past 6 years I have used it. You can download a free trial for 20 days and see if you like it. Spybot and spyware blaster are free spyware programs you can download also.
Should you choose to download AVG, make sure it is the real AVG by Grisoft. I have used many name brand common anti-viruses and they allowed me to get viruses and spyware.

I dont think any sofrtware is 100% but if you need a software of 95% buy the AVG
software on the net- don't get the free version, it's no good,It doesnt delete any virus only scans
