Do you go to libraries often?

i use to go to the library when i was young, i did not visit the library for a few years until lately my daughters want to borrow story books over there, we visit the library quite offen now, almost twice in a months

I used to go libraries for research, but that was when I was still in school. There's not much public libraries here in my country or if we do have some, sad to say but it's true, they can't be used because they are not well-maintained materials-wise and structure-wise. Our government does not give budget for these kinds of things. It's not in the list of their priorities. That is the sad reality.

Hi, Greenline! I do not go to libraries, cause i do most of my searches on the internet. Yes, the net has been a great help for most people. Like my girls' when they have school projects, they just search on the net. They even download their favorite songs to their MP3s and enjoy the music.It is easier, faster and more convenient. I think libraries serve the purpose of being the last resort when you can't find all the information you are looking for on the net. Like when they lack in details, maybe then we will go to the library for references.Have a good day, my friend.

I don't often go to the library very often. Nowadays, I usually go to the library simply for research for my school work and such. I used to go to the library a lot more often a few years ago, but something changed. I'm not sure what, but something definitely changed.

When I was in highschool I used to go to our library to check on this book about pilots. I used to dream of flying a plane so I always read this book. I also always check a map book, I really don't know what it is called but this book is like a compilation of maps around our city and it is as big as a table. When I entered college, I find it very different from my highschool library. It's a bit scary because it really is old and huge. And it smells like old paper. When I got used to it I also go to our main library to read books about numerology and astrology (I was taking up engineering back then). When I fininshed all the numerology books and astrology books I switched up to parapsychology books and tabloids. When I go to engineering library, I only sleep or wait till my next subject. I surf the net to check on my mails or just look for anything so that people may say that I'm doing something worthwhile.

Library is one of my favourite place. When i was a student, i went to my college's library everyday. My college's library has many books, and all the books are arranged properly. It also has many computers for free internet use. We can use all those facility freely. I think i missed my college time already. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

hi greenline, dear friend, i am not a regular goer to the library, but i use to go to it before regularly. i love to read a lot and sitting in the library and reading in that atmosphere, i love that. i use to have Barista next to it, so i use to order a drink or coffee and a sandwich from there and the library had a section a seprate table one can read and eat together. now i am married and live in a different place . but i really miss that place a lot. i loved that place.

When I had my job I never used to step into a library. Since I had to quit because I got sick and our monay got very tight we have become great fans of the library.

Befoe if I wanted a book I would go hang out at the local bookstore, which of course is one of the big chaing, I would buy some coffee and hang out a few hours and ended up walking out after spending $30.00-40.00. I even used to buy books for my girls that I am sure they never ready after getting home.

Now of course money being so limited we instead visit the library, spend some time in the childrens area letting my 2 year old play and then grab several books for the week.

They also have a very high speed internet and free printing so if I ever need that I just go on over.10 pages printed free, you can't beat that!

I visit librarise often. I went there to gather info. on various subjects. I visit librasise 2-3 time in week. I went thre for reading various books & news papers.
Though Internet is good option for this but reading book is all together different way of gathering knowldge.

Yes I do. I visit library frequently. Until few days ago i used to go there almost every next day. I just love books. There are so many great novels and i never get tired of reading them. These days, however, my holidays are coming to end so i can't spend much time on extra books. So i visit there once a week or so.
Library is a great place. I love being surrounded by all those tall things full of books. Besides novels there are biographies, magazines and volumes of encyclopedia etc. But because the library is at a distance and because i am getting a little busy these days, i tried to find books on net. I got thousands of free e-books but non of them were among the ones i needed.
Its been 4 days since i last visited library and was hoping to go there today but unfortunately there is strike today so big stores and libraries are closed. If there was no internet i would have gone mad cause of boredom.
