Cooking for one is a big hassle but what I would do is make a few dishes one day and just alternate with the meals. So you are not always eating the fast food. Good luck to you!

| 4. Solitudefreelancer (93) | 7 months ago | It's ok to fast food when you don't have the time to cook your meals by yourself, but eating fast food too much would lead to serious health conditions (like obesity, having a risk of heart problems and so much more or worse is death) My advice is to eat home cooked meals but if find cooking is such a hassle, you should make a lot of research at the internet for easy healthy meals. Good luck!

If your time does not allow you to cook something more elaborate, then the best way to avoid fast foods is by cooking fast foods yourself...I always go for the beef stake, and canned veggies...it works all the time and apart from saving your cholesterol levels, saves you money too. In less than five minutes you can have a fabulous dish without all the unsaturated fats and byproduct you find in the chain production fast food restaurants. Another strategy I use is that of cooking on friday evening before going out...if you are too tired from a long week's work then saturday afternoon makes it for me. All you have to do thoughout the week is to warm up or thaw the food alrealy prepared. It beats the frozen foods you find in the supermarket as those usually are loaded with additives or preservatives...stuff you don't want on your table!

8. francheskie (833) | 7 months ago | Well in my opinion fast foods are quite not good to our health. Eating a diet consisting largely of fast food could cause your waistline to bulge more than eating the same amount of fat from healthier sources.
Monkeys fed a diet rich in trans-fats commonly found in fast foods grew bigger bellies than those fed a diet rich in unsaturated fats, but containing the same overall number of calories. They also developed signs of insulin resistance, which is an early indicator of diabetes.

10. happythoughts (2135) | 7 months ago | It all depends on what you choose to eat. Meals cooked at home can be just as unhealthy as meals bought at a fst food resturant. If you can afford it and you are making healthy choices at the resturants then it is the same.
